i booked a 4 bed dorm, but they gave me a 6 bed dorm instead... at least they gave me $8 back.

Good location, strong WiFi in the lobby (but not free, look for cbdfree wifi around town), kitchen lacking some basic things and paying deposit for cutlery and plates then getting it back each time is a hassle. Only single power outlet in dorm rooms (6 and 8 person ones at least). Toilets do become pretty dirty pretty fast even though cleaned daily. Very tiny sinks and no mirrors above them -> bizarre shaving experience.

I did only stay for two nights and used the wash facilities but the staff were about to answer all of my questions with ease and it was a great location to use as a base.

what a nice hostel with flair, the reception is so posh, cos its a hotel, and don\'t miss out on the 2 dollar eggs on toast in the mornings! loved it!!!

Hostel is nice, beds are ok, staff was not familiar with tours to book.

The bed wbs dirty on arrival, but the staff were happy to change the sheets. The window was small and the room a it stuffy. Good location and friendly helpful staff.

The roof leaked on my bed, and the toilet door didn't open properly and trapped me in for 10 minutes. Not my most enjoyable stay.

I stayed here for one night. The dorm was very cramped and the kitchen/common area is very small. Not a great hostel to meet new people. The reception tried to organise me a taxi to the airport and got annoyed when i said i would take the bus as it was cheaper! The bathroom facilities are good, its a pity the other areas the same :-(

Nice place to stay. More familiar than the big hostels. But might need a makeover in the common area, so that not everybody has to watch tv instead of talking to each other.

Stayed there for two nights. The Building is beautiful and there bar in the same place was funny. Many showers and toilets but not that clean sometimes... But is a good place to go and close to everything.
