Staff was really friendly and willing to help out with our questions. Hostel was clean and facilities were good, having wifi in the room, and 2 personal power sockets per bed. Have to pay for breakfast but their tea and kitchen is free for use. There are also free computers and a guitar to use as well.
The hostel had no air conditioning. When we stayed there it was 95 degrees Fahrenheit (35 Celsius) and they didn't really do anything to cool the place down. The windows didn't open so it was EXTREAMLY hot all the time-making it very difficult to sleep/relax. If its warm/hot when you are going to Berlin, I would stay somewhere else.

I will start off by saying my review could be slightly biased. We stayed there over a stretch in which Berlin had record heat for June. The place was not equipped with AC, or at least not very strong AC, and only one fan per room of 6 people. Besides that though, the kitchen area was nice, they offered a breakfast at a reasonable price, and the rooms were good for the price. Overall, I rated this hostel mainly "good." For the money however, this is not a bad place to stay.
My second stay at this excellent Hostel. The room was clean and had a great shower in the 4 bed dorm. The room was hot but there was a fan provided in the room. Free breakfast was included which made the price even more of a bargain. The hostel is south of the Kreuzberg area which is good for bars and cheap eats. A special mention for the staff who both times have stayed have been friendly and always willing to provide advice.
Super clean and modern hostel in a nice area of Berlin. Easy to find and just a couple minute walk from a subway stop. The rooms with ensuite bathrooms looked like really nice hotel rooms, only with sturdy bunkbeds. Only downside was no air conditioning in room, so it was pretty hot and stuffy at night, even with the window open.
This hostel has amazing facilities and dorm rooms. The kitchen is huge and new, and the dorm rooms are definitely nicer than some hotel rooms I've stayed at. The only thing I would say is that as a solo traveler, this place seemed to be booked a lot by big family groups, and there weren't many social activies going on, and it seemed like a lot of the people who stayed there weren't really looking to meet others. But if you need a new, nice, clean hostel, then this is your place!
Only disappointment was that out of two toilets, one was not usable because the lights were broken and that there was only one shower on the entire floor. Other than that the cleanliness was very good.
This place was fantastic. The best hostel I've ever been in, better than any hotel I've stayed in even. Highly recommend
It was a very chill atmosphere. The room was nice and big and bathroom with blow dryer a plus. Did not like how far away it was from all the main sites however. But overall a very comfortable stay.
Quite easily the best hostel I've ever stayed in. Friendly staff, VERY clean, cool common areas (big kitchen, lounge area) and great vibe. Only a few stops away from Alexanderspatz station. Would recommend it!
Cat's Pajamas, while located a bit out of the main areas, is definitely worth a stay. The staff were helpful, the whole place is clean and it just has a great feel to it. Although not much of a 'party' hostel, if you find the right people the kitchen is a decent area for drinking (and cooking too). Berlin is such a vast city so it was great to stay a bit away from the main areas and experience some local German things
This hostel is class! I was very impressed with how nice it was for such a low price. Very hip decor! Also it was great to have a kitchen and laundry machines. I've been to many more expensive hostels that don't have either. The wifi only worked in the common area for me, not a big problem though. Nice to have free computer access as well. The breakfast was also very good value. Loved the shower too!!
The hostel isn't so close to the main attractions but it's well connected by bus, the U-bahn station is one block away, 15 -20 minutes top to Bradenburg Tor. The surroundings are full of cafes, bars, restaurants and authentic Berlin city life. The hostel is clean, wifi was good, there are no lockers inside the dorms but they're found next to the reception, the staff was very kind and ready to help you. NO credit cards accepted but there's an ATM across the street.Definetely would come back!

We really enjoyed our stay in this hostel during our trip. The stuff was very helpful and nice. The hostel is cosy itself. The location is also good, because everything in the city you can reach by the metro.
Very good. A bit far from the city center so you have to use public transport. They have paid laundry.
Wonderful and helpful staff, ready to assist in any moment.

Great kitchen. Nice common area. I had issues accessing the wifi in my room. Would stay again.
It is really a good and cozy hostal to stay. Almost perfect. Only downside for you to consider is that it is not so near to the major tourist attactions and it may take you around 20 to 30 mins to get there. However, it is good to stay away from there and enjoy a more local residence.
We had a great stay here. The staff were really friendly and helpful and it is located in a great suburb of Berlin. Couldn't fault this place at all.
Overall an enjoyable stay. Felt a little like a hotel so the vibe was pretty average. Located in a colourful neighbourhood with many cool cafes. The only issues I had at the hostel was that the room can get quite hot and stuffy.
