The Cecil Guesthouse is the Blue Mountains' most traditional guesthouse, quietly situated in an acre of gardens right in the centre of Katoomba with views of the Jamieson Valley and Leura.
Central to all local attractions, bushwalks, tour buses, and service bus stops, restaurants and cafe's all along Katoomba Street.
Relax in comfort in a warm cosy atmosphere some say with a touch of 'Grandmas House'.
Facilities include:
T.V, Table Tennis, Pool Table, Board Games and cards, with tea station in our Games Room.
Complimentary Tea/Coffee.
Breakfast/Dinner available.
Crisp white laundered sheets on all beds. Rooms individually heated.
Shared facilities have bath, showers and basic toiletries provided.
Kitchenette in library with microwave, fridge, cutlery etc

The staff was helpful. Hostel had a pleasant and lovely atmosphere of the 50's. I can recommend hostel for couples, this is not hostel for partying
