A lovely old fashioned guest house reminiscent of bygone days. Security was a bit of a worry though as our bedroom door would not lock properly and the front entrance was open to anyone. I suppose we should have reported this to the management but forgot to do so as we didn't have any valuables with us.

the owner are a very frindly couple. the house seems to be very old. the facilities are quite old fashioned but it's clean and when they inflame the fire in the habitable room it becomes so cosy and homely. we loved our stay at this lovely characterful place.

Very nicely decorated hostel. The continental breakfast is plenty n very nice and the staff are mostly friendly. Was pleasantly surprise by the pool n table tennis table! However it can be really cold in the room at night and the heater doesn't seem to be strong enough to provide warmth. Temp. is really low n unbearable for sleeping. Will be good for the room door to be lock using card access, to have free tv, umbrella loan and instruction on how to operate heater. Took a while to figure out.

Very happy with the stay. Just one problem with a mixup with the rooms. I had a problem with the host who got upset when I was trying to understand what she was saying. She saw me as being angry and loud; I was simply trying to understand what she was telling me. Apart from that it was good. The building was a bit draughty, and cold, but heating was adequate. The free brekkie was fine, a bit of a bonus.
