The shower is not very good, so the water is sometimes hot, and sometimes cold.

perfectly good hostel in a really good location - the only criticism is the lack of a seperate room for chilling out/reading - sometimes have to sit with the TV blaring! Not too big so never a huge crowd in the kitchen but hate those seperate hob grill things, especially when only 1 of them works!

This hostel is directly in the CBD and close to the shopping Malls Elizabeth St. and Salamanca Place. The staff in the hostel are always helpfully and friendly! I really enjoyed the stay there. Of course there are exceptions! The kitchen is not quiet good because the stoves usually not working or need a plenty of time before they get warm! But it was always clean in the hostel and it\'s easy to get to know other backpackers!

Stayed one night. Hard to find coming from the airport. They were really accommodating and great offering food ideas and cool bars.

Exellent helpful and friendly staff very impressed.Stayed in single room think place is rather drab thus gives negative impression at first.View from window was lots of old building material. If it was my business i would remove rubbish from roof or stack neatly out of view.Maybe a mat on the floor of room as carpet is stained and some pictures.Get some bright colored curtains.Would change the charachter of the place as is very old.Old can be good if few things added.kitchen needs new toasters.   Read Owner Comments

We slept like rocks, but that\'s probably because there\'s no parking and we had to lug our stuff 3 blocks and then up 4 flights of stairs. Other than that, the place was ok, but not worth the money since there are places in Hobart easier to access.

Brilliant hostel - great for meeting people! Good facilities - both kitchen and bathroom. Rooms reasonably sized and clean. Staff amazingly helpful - whether you wanted to book a trip or just while away some time with a decent conversation. Happily rang all 7 car rental companies to find me the best deal :) Great location, smack bang in the middle of town!   Read Owner Comments

Shower is sometimes too cold or too hot but I guess it's because of pressure drops when many people shower at the same time. We booked 6-bed room but was upgraded to 4-bed room and got 2 additional blankets for each person (3 blankets per person, which is very warm). However, this might be due to low season for tourists so they have plenty of available rooms and blankets :)   Read Owner Comments

Need to put in your information that it on the 2nd & 3rd floors of the building as those of us with mobility problems found it was a shock and had difficultly navigating the stairs. Definitely not disability friendly!   Read Owner Comments

I did not like how the bathrooms were really cold. Everything else was great, and everyone was really nice.   Read Owner Comments
