Really nice hostel. It's in the middle of downtown, really safe and the people are AMAZING!!!

We did enjoy this hostel, The only complaint was... we stayed 3 nights... then went for 1 night to playa blanca, Which most people do. We re booked for the night we returned and left our luggage there. When we where back the girl said she filled our room. So had to walk round looking for a new place hot çand tired and dirty from the night camping on the beach. hostel is a bit dirty also.

This is a great hostel with very freindly staff. The onlydown side was that they advertise having a swimming pool, but all they have is a small trough in the corner that never has water in it. The swimming pool was the reason I chose the hostel. Apart from that it was great.

AMAZING STAFF, they are all so friendly and welcoming. really is like a home away from home. Def not for spoilt travellers , it is basic but for what you are paying its great. very comfortable to just chill out and relax. awesome location and the best cold lemonade ever. def recommend it if your on a budget and not to hussy about luxuries.

We had an awesome stay at chill house. The rooms were great and the location was perfect! Right in the walled city and minutes from everything including supermarket. Had a blast in Cartagena, Lumi es la mejor!! ;)

The staff is amazing! Especially Sophia is so charming and very helpful. Great location as well

Very good stay there! Almost with "Rumba" and Sofia who were very attentive for us (we were a little sicks at the beginning). Very good remembering of our stay in the hostel and of the laught we had when we try to speak spanish/english... not always easy! :)

Nice hostel perfectly located both for visiting the beautiful old town and going out at night. Two bathrooms for three dorms, however, are a real test for your patience (and your bladder).

Very good stay in the hostel! I highly recommend this for a stay in Cartagena! People (customs and staff) were very friendly!!!

The hostel was nice, I would probably choose a different hostel if I go back to Cartagena because I heard about a bunch of other nice hostels.

We enjoyed our stay here very much, mostly because the staff was extremely helpful and friendly, the location was amazing, and all the free lemonades and coffees didn't hurt either ;)

Great friendly people. Only problem was they put off reserving us a room after we asked them a few times until it was too late and we had to change hostels.

If you want stay somewhere with weird and wonderful people from all over the world with basic facilities and friendly staff then stay here. They come in with coffee to wake you up on a hangover, and they're generally very helpful. HOWEVER, if you want to stay somewhere where the shower and toilet is free when you need it, they don't move you to another dorm every evening and they don't play the same music all day on the stereo, pay more for a smarter place. Loads of character though, great fun.

Very friendly staff (especially Sofia, who is such a sweet person and who always had the kitchen spotless!). Good atmosphere, good location and they had the best lemonade and coffee! However, an extra bathroom and maps for the guests will be appreciated.

one of the best hostels we've stayed in over the last 4 months...the staff were incredible - homemade lemonade brought to us in bed each morning, free drinks and shots one night just for the fun of it, everyone always up for a chat or a hug! and the wonderful sophie even packed my rucksack for me when we didn't return from playa blanca on time, what an angel! lovely, small, clean hostel in a great location - you can't go wrong!

budget hostel. dont expect a lot. if you want a hostel packing a punch that offers a lot of tours, information and good atmosphere... dont go here. if you are ok with the super basics which is all it is... then why not!

Location is great! however there were a few probs during my stay. First, I was disappointed by the staff, which didn't really encourage interaction among guests and they barely said "hi". Second thing, the internet was down for half of my stay, which was really annoying given that I needed it to plan the next stages of my trip and get some work done...and the staff didn't seem to bother too much about it. Bottom line: this hostel has great potential, but could be a lot better

It is very cheap, but they definitely do book extra people on mattresses on the floor of each room (and the common room) each night. The bathrooms (2 for the whole hostel) aren't amazing, staff are friendly but not all of them speak English. We had booked 3 nights online, but after arriving there decided to stay only 2 nights, and the staff wouldn't give us a refund. Location is great in the walled city though there are far nicer hostels for a bit more money nearby.

Great, The best location in Cartagena, safe place, old school party backpacker style Not for Spoiled people but for true travellers, comfortable beds, Basic kitchen and the facilities we need . Had a great time with this nice people .

Bien la atención, pero por el precio de la habitación privada no vale mucho la pena, la cama medio rota, no hay canilla en el baño, sólo un baño afuera para todos, gente en el piso, no venden bebidas, poco espacio. La ubicación zafa, aunque no es la mejor.
