Our stay here was ok the staff were helpful at first but went to stay at playa blanca for a few days and reserved a room for our return, but when we got back they told us that they had already filled the room and there was nothing they could do to help. This left us trying to find a hostel late on a busy Friday evening

Cool place in an awesome location. The place was clean and the staff were very helpful/ friendly. The bathroom situation is a bit awkward as there are only two and one of them you have to walk through a dorm to get to. But overall I'd recommend it.

The hostel was lively, with character, seems to attract cool people, the AC was working and the staff was very helpful and friendly; the location is great, but one of its bathrooms was small and dirty and to get to the other one you are supposed to walk through one of the bedrooms, which is not my cup of tea. The rooms were clean though and the lounge was quite fine. If you are not a clean freak bathroom-wise and/or want to pay for a private room with a separate shower/WC, the place is groovy.

Great location in the heart of the old city. Go for the ten bed dorm as that has aircon which is defnately needed in cartagena. Staff were fab, very helpful and chilled. Really the only down is the need for another bathroom or a seperate toilet

Nice, great location, and chill. But if you want to do stuff book your tours through an agency instead. We booked a snorkelling tour through this hostel but it was a fake, they dumped us on a beach all day and we never saw a snorkel! When we complained and wanted our money back, the receptionist who sold us the tour did not take on any responsibility whatsoever and did not give us a refund of any kind. Nonetheless, Sofia, the lady who works in the kitchen, is excellent!!

We had an awesome time at this hostel! The location is perfect, it has a great common room and comfy beds! The bathrooms are a little average but what it lacks in facilities they make up with the staff and atmosphere - the staff make this place feel like a second home! Thanks guys!

We spend three days in chill house. The atmosphere was excellent and staff was too. Our room for 12 had AC. That was a big tick!! The big contradiction was the low music. (Guys you are amazing but please! Put the volume down ;) the day we arrived the music was do low that we couldn't hear the receptionist who was half meter distance in from of us. So if you want to chill out during the evening forget about it!

Well located in the middle of old town right next to a nice square. Feels really safe to walk around at night. But the staff was (although friendly) a bit weird. Everything was really difficult and it took them 1,5 hour to find out if I could stay for an extra night. They were overbooked every night so people had to sleep in hammocks and on the couch.

Un buen lugar para alojarse en el centro histórico de Cartagena, buena ubicación y buena relación calidad precio. El colchón de la habitación podría ser mejor.

This hostel was great. We had a really good time with the people staying there as well as the staff. Everyone was really friendly and made sure everyone felt welcome. The bathrooms were not flash but you get used to that when Travelling so no big deal. Location and atmosphere make up for that.

Don't go here if you wan't to sleep!! The place was very noicy. The staff played music extremely loud exactly outside the dorm close to 00:00. I understand if the hostel wants to have a nice atmosphere, but the music was way too loud - almost as if they though they were a disco. Moreover, there were only three guests hanging out outside, while five of us were trying to sleep. For this reason, I told the staff to lower the volume, which they did not do.

Excellent location in the historic center of Cartagena. Pretty small hostel, it has about 35 beds I guess. Unfortunately there are only 2 bathrooms for all these beds, so when 2 people are showering in the morning, you will have to hold your pee. Waiting lines not uncommon. Hostel can definitely use an extra toilet (without shower). That being said, staff is very friendly. WiFi and public compu available. Kitchen is basic but there. Tours are a bit overpriced. All in all not a bad place to stay.

All was relatively fine, with the big and important exception of the bathroom. Just one shower and one water (inodoro) for 20 people! And too much music wtihout control during the night.

The water ran out frequently. Other than that, the staff was extremely welcoming and helpful.

Hostel is in the city center and close to everything. There are small restaurants outside the door where you can get menus for 10.000 pesos. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Kitchen is very clean and got basic things for cooking (oil and a strainer is missing). In the evening music and street is very loud and there are only two bathrooms, people come in the dorm to use the toilet. If you like cheap and clean hostels with dorms, it´s definitely the right place to stay.
