excellent place for the price. a little bit of a walk from the beach, but perhaps its better that way, as you are away from the loud clubs at night. staff weas nice and very friendly. tamarindo is a very touristic place meaning everything is quite spendy , but this hostel was more than reasonably priced.

Matress on the bed was way to soft and made for a difficult sleep. Exposed elctrical in the shower and a water heater that didn't work made the stay less than stellar. Had to defrost the fridge so it would work properly. The staff was really great, friendly, knowledgable and approachable. The pool was pretty good but the overall socialization compared to other hostels was not as prominent.

In front of our room there is a big mortar and it makes big noise whole day. It was a little annoying. There is no ladder to climb up a bed so you need to use a chair.

A bit expensive, but it is Tamarindo in High Season, so what can you do. Other than that, awesome hostel, great atmosphere for a younger age group.

The attitude of the staff is amazing. They genuinely want you to enjoy yourself and experience all that Tamarindo has to offer up to what you feel comfortable.
