Although the staff were friendly the atmosphere was spoiled by being charged incorrectly for a meal we didn't order as well as receiving an email suggesting that we had not arrived and were going to be charged from our credit card even though we had already paid in cash. It was all rectified as soon as we mentioned t the staff but I was unable to check the credit card statement on line to reassure myself. Also,They offered $ 17 to go Angkor Wat and Angkor Tom tour on tuktuk. That's expensive.
Be awesome if it was closer to downtown only downside. Nice place nice people
No free transfer. 2dollar single tuk tuk ride to get into town. 'Free' bicycles all broken. Dirty room. Never cleaned once in the 4 nights we stayed there. Staff unable to understand. We booked with website deal of 4 nights for 3 and the staff were unwilling to allow the deal, only after alot of arguing did they relent. Stay at the Jasmine with the pool. Looks alot nicer.

The bed is too big, so even people cannot walk in the room. I stayed in dormitory room with my companies in same room, so it was fine. If you came here alone and staying in dormitory, there is even no room to put your baggage, and it is annoying whenever using the toilet. And, Staff was really unprofessional. Whenever we book the tour, or car, it was late or sometimes, driver didn't appear without any reasons. Staff didn't handle the problem it and even for noisy at until late night. I hate here
Very friendly staff ... they ll join you for a game of pool if you find no one. They could improve their knowledge of the sights around and also suggest itineraries to new people. Overall extremely warm people and you get great value for money here.

The breakfast is not included, eventhough it might seem like it when they just come with breakfast if you sit down.
Staff definitely made this hostel for me. They were very helpful, booked my 5 am tuk tuk for sunrise at Angkor Wat, and then allowed me to borrow a bike for the following two days, completely free of charge. Beers, laundry and food were a little expensive but with a free bike you can remedy this and find cheaper options for it all. Would stay here again for the convenience of the free bikes and the proximity to Angkor Wat but the atmosphere was lacking.
The staff was helpful even trough miscommunication in arriving. All the other questions regarding next travel steps were gladly answered including help in local transport. Location was not in the city center but we chose it from the northern side of the city because we wanted to have a tour to Angkor Wat. Anyway, it only took 15min to walk to city center. Also the small city of Seam Reap is worth seeing!
A really nice hostel but the poor service ruins the nice setting. They offer food but menu is limited. The WiFi broke continuously which was frustrating. The staff are nice but rather clueless. They didn't clean our room for the five days we were here which is fine but they also didn't empty our bins which isn't very hygienic in the toilet. A shame as its a nice place and could be run much better
We booked this room as a 'Hostel World Deal' that included either breakfast or dinner or a pool swim. Only problem was that the staff not only didn't have a clue about the offer but once they found out they were very reluctant to honor it. In general they were super arrogant and we had a better time across the road at the Jasmine Family Hotel - a much better vibe!
Very cool to chill for a few day, i 'll be back next week made already reservations....
