Best Hostel Ever! I was so lucky I chose this hostel. Such a clean room and friendly staffs :)
Very helpful staff, great atmosphere. Only problem is no lockers
1. Room leaked through window, ruined a book and soaked some clothes. 2. Kept up all night by a French staff member leaving and entering the building to smoke on a non smoking decking. 3. Moved into different room in the morning as we complained about the noise, staff did not acknowledge our complaint simply moved us, to a dirty room. 4. Came back after a day out in toronto to find house keeping had left our door open. 5. Complained to staff and they said I must have left door open. 6. Terrible.
Nice place, very clean. Good kitchen facilities seemed to be only one tablet that didn't work. Not much to offer in terms of internet access to a traveller without a smart phone

this is a good place to stay if you are looking for cleanliness and comfortable facilities. it would have been perfect if the two guys taking care of it were nicer and less grumpy.
I splurged and stayed in the private ensuite room for two nights. The room was adequate, if tiny and windowless. The bathroom was very nice. I just wish the door had been more solid; there was a grill in the bottom of it that let in all the noise from the common area. And for the price, breakfast should be included.
A good and clean hostel. Friendly staff. A good kitchen.
Great staff. Roof terrace is brilliant for gazing up at the CN Tower at night. Great location and everything you need from a hostel. Good beds with the curtains to pull across giving privacy - other hostels should take note! Would stay here again , no issues at all.
Awesome hostel! The kitchen system they have work great, so be sure to take advantage of that. The wifi is good in the living room, not so much in the dorm rooms. Only (minor) complaints were that there is no free breakfast and that there was no A/C.
I stayed in a 6 bad room with 1 bathroom. The bed was big, room had air conditioning and shower was great. The bathroom was inside the room and quite dirty, but mainly because the roomates I had wore very messy. The staff was cordial. The Atmosphere is not very hostal like, a lot of long terms stays but it was good for what I needed it. Location was great, near everything you might want.
Hostel was in a great location, just down the road from pretty much everything. No lockers in rooms, beds were comfy, air-conditioning kept coming off the wall so the hot air from the air conditioning unit would pump into the room, as well as the outside heat, our bathroom was never clean but I think that's because a long termer in our room had the cleaning jobs and never did our room.
Very nice and helpful staff! Quiet hostel, from 23 pm the sleep of the guests is highly respected. A little park is in front of the hostel, very nice in the summer, a little french style cafe is in the building included. Sadly no lockers in the room. Empfehlenswertes Hostel, ruhige Umgebung. Kein Partyhostel!
Only stayed one night in a private room but we enjoyed our stay at the Clarence Park. The facilities were modern and clean and the location was great. Close to the train station and CN Tower. Also, the neighborhood felt safe and was within walking distance to shopping and restaurants.

Great welcome. Walking distance to a lot of sights. Clean room. Very clean bathroom.
Nice and quiet hostel with a friendly atmosphere. Easy to meet people and excellent location. Super friendly staff. Best hostel we've stayed at in Toronto.
Great place to stay right in the heart of Toronto. Staff are brilliant, very helpful and always happy. Room had everything we needed.
Was a really clean hostel, though they provided lockers downstairs, there were none upstairs. The wifi was also a bit touch and go. It was in a good location (close to china town and the entertainment district, and there was a liquor shop up the street). The staff were helpful, but sometimes a little over enthusiastic, haha. It had a good balcony to chill at during the day or night, and the kitchen had everything we needed. There were also 2 TVs on the ground floor that was also pretty much 24/7
Wow! There were some mixed reviews of this hostel from various sources on the net (Trip Advisor, Hostel World, etc.), but I found it a clearly fantastic place. Yes, they are doing renovations, but that did not subtract too much from the nice style of the place. I loved my time there and it was just what I was looking for. Definitely I will stay there again!
The location was absolutely superb, while still on a quiet street. The staff at the front desk were fun and friendly. The hostel was nicely renovated while still maintaining character. The French cafe inside was very cute and authentic.
