The Classic Courtyard Reviews

If you have a group of 3 or 4 people this place is amazing. I went by myself and the room is hotel quality. Most comfortable bed I've had in China. Staff are also great. Only downside is that, since there are no dorms, it's much harder to meet people. If that's not important to you then I would highly recommend this place, especially when they have one of their great deals on.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Classic Courtyard. The staff were exceptionally friendly and informative, the rooms were well serviced and in excellent condition. I recommend the hostel very highly and look forward to my next visit. Its location nestled in a very authentic part of Beijing allowed me to experience some of the normal life of local residents while being a nice walk from many of the major attractions. You will not be disappointed with your experience at the Classic Courtyard.

Everything was great! The staff ( Simon, Bessy and an another girl) were amazing, they helped us a lot, answered all our questions! The room was really clean. Nice place! I recommend it !

I loved staying here, I passed through Beijing twice on my travels, The first time I found this place by friends recommendation, the second time it was the obvious choice. In fact the only reason I'd fly into Beijing on my next trip to China is to stay here! The food was great, the staff are incredibly personable and helpful, the location is easy to find and easy to reach other landmarks, the WiFi is quick and stable, the bar and living areas have great character and again I love the staff

the hostel in general is good, its clean, the staff are hospitable and friendly , the location is good too.

Nice people working in this hostel. The room was ok, quite clean but a little bit cold for a Chinese winter. The location is excellent, very close to the metro station and right behind Lama Temple. The staff speak good English, not Shakespeare but understandable!

The hostel was generally very nice with friendly staff and in a great location... The room was clean and nicley furnished... My only complaint is that we were not previously made aware that it was under construction... We were woken up early each morning by loud drilling noises... The hostel is advertised as having a lovely courtyard (part of the reason I chose it), but during our stay, the courtyard was being used as a storage area for construction tools and old furniture...
