The Clay Hotel and Hostel Reviews

I read all the reviews carefully and I still decided to stay, that was my first mistake. The pictures on the website are nothing like the room you actually stay in, they are very deceiving. We were 2 adults staying in the room and the room was extremely small. With only 1 full size bed and No Iron. On their website they should be very specific as to what each room description means. And what you will expect when you walk in the room. If you stay ask if you are getting the advertised room!

Next to Española Way and therefore not quiet in the evening. Apart from that, absolutely fine hostel.

Very Enjoyable stay at The Clay. Staff were friendly, helpful and always on good form - Even at 4am after a night out on NYE! Really good location in South Beach....Close enough to to Ocean Drive, but far enough away from the madness to get a decent nights sleep. I was lucky to get one of the 'quieter' rooms, which is away from all the bars and restaurants along Espanola so if possible I would reccomend this as they stay open fairly late. Room was clean and ideal for what we were there for.
