I would like to thank the owner for her kindness. You can see that she loves that place and welcomes you with a big smile on her face. I had a great weekend there and would recommend this hostel to everyone!

We had a fantastic stay in Sleepzone. The staff made it so great, they were so welcoming and went out of their way to help us. Our host stayed up till 4am to welcome everyone back from the Turfguy event celebrations and made everyone tea and toast, and she was awake again at the crack of dawn to make breakfast and cure the pounding hangovers. The hostel feels like your own house, very relaxed and laid back. Its a bit out of the way and a car is the best way to get there, but scenery is beautiful.

Beautiful location, very well equipped and comfortable. Bit small bedroom but its' nothing compared to the positive overview of the hostel. Better to stay at least 2 nights so many things to see around.

The staff especially Frieda was amazing, we had some special requests and Frieda fixed us right up! The location is very close to the Western Way trail and had beautiful views of the fjord. The rooms are not the cleanest (as in the walls and stuff) but you can tell the are doing the best with what they have. The linen was all clean though. Hot showers, that stay on continuously!! The hostel is very homey and warm feeling. I loved the games and movies offered in the tv room.

The staff was amazing! Loved Oliver!!! and the manager was as sweet and lovable as anyone could get, she gave us our own room after hearing about our bad day ( we got lost for 6 hours driving from dublin to connemara straight off the airplane!) Then she sent Oliver out with us to buy us or first Irish drink, Oliver is a cutie from France btw, very funny guy! wish we'd had more time there, even though theres not a lot of night life and the town is small, the hostels friendliness made up for it.

A really lovely stay in a very clean hostel with lots of fun (Thank you so much, guys!)..It had a good - fully equipped kitchen and a fireplace in the common room where you also find books, DVDs and games..I would recommed this hostel to anyone, who just wants to get a few days out of towns and likes walking/hiking or just one or a few days to relax, because it it really settled in the middle of "nowhere" between the mountains, the Killary Fjord and the Atlantic Ocean...

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, but the website for this hostel did not blatantly state that the closest town (and location for food!) was over an hour away walking (1.5 hours to be exact). So, BRING YOUR OWN FOOD! The view from the hostel window was absolutely beautiful! It was a nice place to stay, but definitely not what we were expecting. (Which, in the end, ended up being a good thing! Overall a pretty good experience! :)

Freida's friendliness, service, and helpfulness was beyond the usual attentiveness expected and was very welcome. We cannot say enough about the staff at the Sleepzones where we have stayed. The Sleepzone Connemara is a little further off the road than the average hostel. But if you are wanting a beautiful environment, a good night's sleep, and courteous service this hostel next to the fjord is a good place.

I wouldnt recommend Sleepzone Connemara cause for 25€ WITHOUT breakfast it is much too expensive as you have close by a new and nice b&b for only 20 € all in all I find it poor that no breakfast is offereed at all! in a hostel!

Love this hostel in one of the most beautiful places in Ireland. I have stayed many times and the staff are always very friendly. Nice little bar with pool table (only one euro). Also has an excellent, very clean and well stocked kitchen.

The views from the dining room are great and organization is pretty good. The hostel is clean, though the fire alarm wasn't working and was bipping ALL THE TIME. It looks like it have been like that for months. It's pretty annoying.

I thought the Warmth of welcome was fantastic. I was competing in the Gaelforce race on sat 20th Aug and the hostel helped organise taxi for morning. Allowed us to use campers showers after the race when we came to collect the car. Super stay
