We LOVED our stay here! The building itself is awesome and our 8-person dorm was spacious. The area is beautiful and worth going to. (You'll definitely want a car, though.)

excellent friendly staff, very helpful even on a very busy day.perfect location for gaelforce connemara race as very close to start line. Quiet location ,limited phone coverage and tv signal which is nice in this day and age. Clean warm room. Hostel supplied all needs tea, milk, bread ,porridge and facilities for cooking were very good. The manageress Miss Christy was very good and helpful with great hospitality thanks..

This is a great hostel and in great location only problem they need to sort out water. The two nights we stayed it was not possible to have a hot shower, the first night we arrived the water was cold and the second day there was no pressure and the water could not be regulated - not good after the Connemara Gaelforce event!

it's not worth the money that you pay for it, e.g. fungi on the walls in the dining room

Fantastic location, great facilities and very hospitible staff. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were very fortunate with bright blue skies and winter sun. We would highly recommend Sleepzone Connemara for group bookings as they have ample room to cook and cater for larger groups and sufficient car parking spaces. We will definitely be returning next year.

Everything was good apart from two things: there was no key to our room (so we were unable to lock it securely) and there was neither enough warmth in the room nor enough of hot water (when we started taking shower around 10pm, the water was already cold). Apart from tht: It is located in a beautiful place, staff is very friendly and helpful and it is good value for money

it was best said 20 minutes ago before I left Isaacs hostel in Dublin. Incoming tourist were looking for a plan and I raved about the location. of particular mention was the location, the authentic irsh and homey atmosphere and mostly my Host Joanne who feels more like a friend after just 2 days. It was hard to leave and look foward to returning and steering friends toward your hostel too share my experience which is surely the highest praise of all.

We had two wonderful nights in the Connemara Hostel with Joan, the manager of the hostel! She was wonderful and kept us warm with the fire in the living room. Best nights in Ireland and we had a lot of fun! There are also great hiking tours to do in the area, so it is really worth to stay at least two nights. Thanks a lot for welcoming us!
