The Contempo Design Suites is a guest house that offers uniquely furnished guest suites with kitchen or kitchenette in the heart of Manhattan.
We are designers that restored bits and pieces, decorated and furnished most of this typical turn-of-the-century Village townhouse. Our aim was to create a tranquil yet ultimately hip urban hideaway that fuses comfort with originality.
Located at the northwestern end of Greenwich Village and in the very heart of Manhattan, this is an awesome spot to live at as well as a perfect base for sightseeing. A few steps from Union Square, historic Washington Square Park, four major subway lines; within walking distance to Midtown, the Meatpacking and Soho - this location simply cannot be beat!
Being keen travelers ourselves, we are happy to share our place with visitors and offer hosted guest accommodation for short and long term stays.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
No traditional 24 hours front desk. All arrivals will need to provide arrival time.
There is NO ELEVATOR or concierge in this building. The guest suites are located one or two flights up.
Since our guests will have access to fully equipped kitchens, we do not serve breakfast.
TAXES ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE RATES SHOW. NYC taxes are 14.75% hotel tax and $3.50/unit/night occupancy fee.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Deposits are non-refundable.
The minimum stay requirement is 4 nights, unless otherwise stated. Cancellation of individual nights resulting in a reservation less than the minimum requirement will not be allowed.
In case of cancellation within not less than 14 days arrival date there will be no additional charge.
Cancellations within 14 days of arrival date will incur a late cancellation fee equal to the full rate (including taxes) of the first 5 nights of the reservation.
In case of a no show or cancellation within 24 hours of arrival date, the full balance of the stay (including taxes) will be charged.
There are many travel insurance providers available, some with comprehensive plans. We highly recommend visiting www.insuremytrip.com for our Guests to purchase a suitable travel insurance plan to avoid cancellation costs.
We will not be able to forfeit any late cancellation/no show fee because of cancelled flights, strikes, illness, etc. It will be the responsibility of the traveler to insure themselves against such occurrences.

Cancellation Policy
This property has a 14 day cancellation policy.Failure to cancel within this time will result in a cancellation charge equal to the first night of your stay.
Things to Note
CONDITIONS AND POLICIES
By booking this property Customer accepts its Conditions and Policies as detailed below:
• Check-in: 3:00 PM-10:00 PM by prior arrangement. No check-in after 10:00 PM (For late arrivals self check-in possible by request).
• Check-out: by 11:00 AM
• All arrivals will need to provide flight information or arrival time.
• Valid photo ID required upon check-in.
• Our facilities are not suitable for small children. Kids 8 years of age and above are welcome to stay with us.
• Guests must be at least 21 years of age to check in without an adult guardian.
• Accommodations are for registered guests only. No extra guests beyond the maximum capacity of the reserved guest suite/apartment will be allowed.
• Pets are not allowed.
• Since our guest suites feature a fully equipped kitchen, breakfast is not provided.
• A deposit of 10% of the reservation total is charged upon booking. The remaining balance is due upon arrival. For payment we accept all major credit and debit cards, Travelers Checks and cash. Please note: For credit/debit card payments there is a 3.5% percent bank processing fee.
• Reservations must be secured by valid credit card. If credit card expires before check-in, Guest will need to provide new card number at least 14 days before arrival date. In lack of valid credit card the reservation will automatically be canceled 14 days before arrival date.
