Everyone was very friendly and place had a good atmosphere, lots of partying if you want that.

Had a great stay. A lot of lifers in there so you really feel like you're walking into a family setting. Staff is very welcoming. Definitely recommend!

This hostel was not very clean and only had 2 working fridges and freezers for 24 people. There were only 2 showers for the whole hostel. The hostel is on a noisy road and was very hot with only a couple of fans to try and keep the room cool. Staff, whilst friendly, did not attempt to fix problems they were asked to fix. The hostel however is in a good location for Victoria market and to walk to the city centre. Drinks vouchers and wifi cards were appreciated and the pub was really good.

This hostel is brilliant due to its size so you quickly get to know each other but there is not much space in the red room dorm and the hostel in general is very hot. However the staff, location and free Internet cards and drink cards are great.

The manager, Owen, is great at keep this place clean and organized. He actually gets up every morning to clean and stock the bathrooms and does laundry for the incoming guests. I almost couldn't believe it the first time I saw it. Most hostels balk at this sort of care taking.

My Best Hostel in Australia so far. Its a small Hostel and lots of nice Peope stay there. The Staff is friendly, helpful and cleans all bathrooms the kitchen, tv room and so on every morning. There is a nice Pub downstairs (got a free drink voucher at checkin and guest get discounts on beer) ALDI and Coles arnt to far away and the Victoria Market is very close. Its a few minuts walk to the city and the free city tram. Will stay thre again when i am back to Melbourne

I really enjoyed this hostel, it felt more like a shared house because of the small size and friendly atmosphere. The staff will help you in any way they can. The building's old, but everything important works- The character of this place is what you come for. Also, the beds are quite comfortable :)
