With it's lovely garden, it's surely a fantastic place in summertime. It's not really suitable for a winter visit though, as all common areas are unheated, open to the outside and simply freezing. After 2 nights we moved to a different place, as we couldnt sit in the common rooms for long. Staff are super helpful, friendly and full of good advice. It's not an idea starting point for bike tours as you have to cross the traffic hells of Yangshuo for any of the sights you might want to explore.

Hey, glad you enjoyed our lovely little garden :) sorry to hear you got caught in the winter chill, we had a really big cold snap that lasted about 5 days and the poor Heating couldn't keep up in the common area, At least the rooms are nice and easy to get lovely and warm, and we do have the restaurant across the road which is always nice and warm! There are quite a few back ways around the town to keep away from the traffic, but that's all part of the fun of learning a town. China's traffic is certainly different from the west but you soon get used to it, hopefully see you again!

My wife and I stayed here during a week long trip at the end of November. Our airport pickup arrived several hours after scheduled. We were a bit disappointed with this, but the staff more than made up for it. They gave us free breakfast the next day and then free tea/coffee on every other day we were there, and free bike rentals the whole stay to make up for it. We ate most of our meals there and loved every one of them. We also organized activities through them - cheaper and convenient!

A nice hostel located in a village just outside of Yangshuo. It was great for me at the time, as I was looking for somewhere to stay that was away from the drinking crowds of Yangshuo, but still close by. The garden out back is a nice area to chill out in after a hard day of cycling & the staff were very friendly. The food is also very good, coming from the hotel opposite. The only issue was that not many others were staying here when I was (Nov), so the atmosphere wasn't great.
