This is the worst place on earth never book it, i left after 1 night. Okay $19 i wasn't expecting much but it really was poor.

Very sirty unhelpful staff very noisy In 3 days despiteasking staff I could not even find a bathroom ortoilet

No windows on most of the rooms, no utensils in the kitcken (at all), a lot of people living in the hostel, linen were dirty, bathrooms and kitchen really dirty, even cocoraches in the kitchen. Do not stay here, pay a couple of extra dollars and stay somewhere else! I stayed also at Nomads Auckland and was so much better!

the cozy kiwi is a nice hostel where people are really nice, the staff is great and here for you when you need it. you can drink, they have a roof top terrace for smokers and others. the matresses are nice, and bathroom mostly clean. this is not a 5 star hotel so you know what to expect.

Harsh rating but after staying in almost 60hostels all over the world....its the dirtiest iv ever seen. From the unemptied bins in the toilet, stink carpet in common room, dark circle in corner of the bedroom (my guess is wee)...the list goes on and on. Couldnt get a better location. Internet was very slow, staff really tried but the place just needs the owner to show a bit of interest and give it a overhall. Could be a great hostel if these bad ratings were noted
