Breakfast is not included, but they will cook you a good breakfast and good coffee. The tour to Carne the res on friday is a lot of fun. Nice and good hostel.

Hostel in a good location with a good kitchen. However, I would not recommend staying there, simply because the private rooms are located on the bottom floor, right between the common area and the kitchen area. This meant very little sleep as it was very noisy until very late (even after everyone at gone out partying, the staff left the music on very loud until the the early hours). Also, curiously the staff on the second night decided to clean the kitchen (very loudly) at 12.30am. Stupid.

Really nice breakfasts and dinners, not too expensive! The beds were comfortable with proper duvets. The TV room was great with a good selection of films, but they should light the fire in there - this never happened when I was there! Overall a really nice hostel though, and the owner was friendly and happy to help.

The Cranky Croc was one of the best hostels I've stayed at--the layout provides for a communal atmosphere, and the kitchen provides everything you need to cook a meal. The staff were all friendly and helpful, organizing weekend events and providing information on the city. I would absolutely return to Cranky Croc.

Fantastic hostel! Such crazy people - one man in particular stands out: Barry! Honestly give his infamous 'Bogota Banging Van Ride' a chance, the people behind reception will help you book it. Make sure you ask for the van with windows as the other group got a pretty rough deal it seems. Definitely take your passport - you literally have no idea where you will end up! Thanks a lot Bazza, the tattoo's no longer infected and serves as an involuntary reminder to our shenanigans! Ciao xx

A la carte breakfast was good, and love that they serve until late (after 1pm if I remember right). Individual lockers with plugs for charging the toys is good too... fits your whole backpack too if you want. Open-air breezeway in the middle of the hostel can be troublesome when it's pouring, which is often. Big social areas. Good info from staff, but the tours they do went out late both nights and were a bit disorganized in my opinion, so it takes away from the time you're actually AT the bars.

The owner, Andy is a great source of information and makes you feel right at home. Rooms and bathrooms are quite clean and quiet. Nice social area with a fireplace.

The hostel ruined my clothes by washing together the white t-shirts with the red ones. Now i have tainted t-shirts. It is unnaceptable.

Big kitchen and common area. 5 computers, didn't wait once for one. Chef was awesome, but the receptionist wasn't the friendliest...maybe she was having a bad day?

Hey there! Think you should check bed 7 in dorm 2 for bed bugs, as I woke up one night itching like mad and still have the bites quite a few days later. Otherwise I really enjoyed staying at your hostel.

We had 3 nights here and loved Bogota and the Cranky Croc. Set in a massive old Colonial joint there was plenty of room with great facilities. Bogota is a litlle rough around the edges but the location is great for everything with plenty of cool students around. Comfy beds, helpful staff and including the cleaning staff, always free hot coffee on the go, great indoor/outdoor socialising/chill areas. A must is the Bogota Bike Tour around the corner, one of the best things to date we've done in SA

Andy was very helpful and the hostel provides an excellent breakfast. It's a bit cold at night but the staff provided extra blankets which was great.

Amazing hostel. Stayed here when I returned to Bogotá a second time. The staff are amazing, the location is perfect and the rooms are great. Loads of films to watch for recovery days, amazing Friday night BBQ - thanks Andy! Everything you could want from a hostel. The best wireless for a hostel I've come across in South America.
