The day before I arrived I rang to ask if there was a storage space or a locker with a key I could put my lap top in. A lady answered and said there was a locker, with plenty of space for my bags and lap top. I am applying for jobs while travelling. When I arrived the man who showed me my room said there was no locker at all, I had been misinformed by a new lady who had started there. I was not shown round when i arrived and discovered by accident there was a kitchen and lounge.

Il fatto di essere Hotel-Bar ha i suoi pregi ed i suoi difetti !!! Dato che organizza Live è un luogo molto attivo/dinamico e finché le feste non finiscono è pressoché impossibile chiudere occhio e dormire. Le doccie non erano la fine del mondo come un pò tutti i locali, ma nel contesto è stato un buon soggiorno. Non ottimo ma consigliato !!!

had a wonderful time, met lovely people, staff were lovely, locals at pub downstairs were a laugh.

Lovely hostle with lots of space to cook and eat, also with a big living room (incl. dvd player) to relax in. In the heart of Glastonbury, a great place to stay.

Very friendly hostel. Can be quite loud here at the weekends. It is perfectly located. On tuesdays there's a market just outside the Crown. The café downstares serve good food. No lockers for safekeeping. I would recomend it to anyone who are used to staying in a hostel :)

when are you going to write the right name of the hostel?? there is NO ""backpackers"" hostel written anywhere! the name of it is actually "the crown" please, FINALLY change the name! the bloody pub on the 1st floor was too noisy, was impossible to sleep

I absolutely loved my 3 days in Glastonbury. I was lucky enough to share the Orange room with several lovely, very interesting women. The lady at the reception was lovely and very helpful. All in all, I would highly recommend the hostel, it's location is perfect (directly across the street from Glastonbury Abbey.) I had a wonderful stay, and will go back again for sure.

One of my favourite hostels. Plenty of space and no TV in the kitchen/diner. I'm a regular customer and have made friends with some excellent people there. Noisy from the pub on thursday to saturday but good if you like karaoke/live music. No piped music upstairs in the backpackers so mostly peaceful.
