The hostel was much as expected. Was told there was an extended music licence the band were great and finished just after midnight. So no problems. What was not said that the pub music went on for another couple of hours and sounded as if it was in the room with us! The room was clean but the window was a skylight which you could not see out of and as the walls in the room were painted brown made it very gloomy.

The hostel was great. The only reason I marked cleanliness as good and not excellent was that it would have been nicer if the showers were kept cleaner. They were a bit grotty in the corners. Other than that, excellent hostel, great people, PERFECT location in the very centre of Glastonbury. Extremely convenient.

Nothing to write home about, but the cheapest stay in Glastonbury. I was in the female dorm with really nice ladies. The hallways smell a bit old but it's an old building. The great room is nice. The wifi never worked for me. There was a DJ until 3am on a Friday night but we were three floors up and with ear plugs it wasn't a problem at all. Everyone there was really nice and the location was great.

The small kitchen is messy, no lights in the lounge area but a lot of candles. Not well mainteined (eg. door handles)

As you would expect for Glastonbury - quirky and relaxed. Residents are friendly. Not that happy about the door codes for every room being displayed on the inside of the cleaning cupboards - and then being left on full view but hey - it's Glasto. Showers could do with a better drain. Place a bit pongy of sweat but otherwise fantastic and superb rooms with clean bedding. Third visit - would always stay there.

Good communal space. Great location. Couldnt be more central. Friendly atmosphere with helpful staff. Bring your earplugs on a weekend!

Great central location, friendly staff and amazing value. Hostel guests have a well-equipped kitchen / sitting room with a large fridge and a cupboard of 'free stuff' for sharing. The upstairs restaurant space, which is a very large, light room, is also available for hostel guests to use. The only thing that stopped me giving it full marks was that both the front door and the dormitory doors have codes rather than keys, which in theory could be memorised by non-residents.

Terrible. Staff never to be seen. Shower constantly broken and either extremely hot or ice cold, little security. A lot of crazies staying there -one guy was a time lord, another was talking to himself constantly and the third guy had serious issues - he was ranting and raving for about an hour one night. He would sit bolt upright in the middle of the night run around the room, run downstairs, lie on the couch then run into the room again and repeat all through the night. Worst stay anywhere.

Had a lovely time, could self cater, loved the room (double with shower and wash basin). We were warned on arrival that there was entertainment until after midnight (3am on Friday 29th April) that would be loud. It was loud. I think that if beds are being sold for sleeping in, then there should be a curfew of midnight on late licenses for music and noise. Fair to sleepers and revellers.

No complaints as such - for the money, the room was clean, warm with nice shower facilities. The only thing Id grumble about is that there are no locker facilities for your bags so we had to keep going in and out of the car for stuff
