I had an amazing time at CubaHostel! The staff were extremely friendly and willing to help me with anything I needed. They gave me good advice and recommendations and it made me feel safe in Saint Petersburg. It also gave me a chance to meat other young travellers like myself, and because of the good environment it was easy to hang out and become friends. I'm definitely coming back!

Nice place to stay! Strongly recommend to everyone. Just perfect location quite behind Kazanskiy cathedral with the numerous sightseens, clubs and bars in the neighbourhood. Really friendly and helpful staff.

We love the cubahostel! The friendliest staff we have run into at any hostel, and our most pleasant stay in Russia. Lot's of fun, very festive, good people, and very clean. A+++ would stay with again.

I like the hostel., full of character, a joyful scene even in the rainy day. However, the kitchen should be improved in terms of cooking utensils and more cooking rings. In addition, the sink which is a bit away from the fridge and stove is a big no no.

The staff were really helpful and lovely! Would most certainly recommend this hostel.

Awesome place to stay! warm personnel 24 long, world-wide room neighbors, free coffee what more can be asked for such low cost. It was perfect experience to start hostel travelling!

We were kept up 3 nights in a row with some late night (1am-5am) drinking sessions that the staff did not seem to care much about. This was topped off by people having noisy sex in the showers and groups of boys stripping for drunk girls in the kitchen area so the entire hostel was woken up. Bathrooms are gross... ...I waited till I saw a MacDonalds. Have to give it an A+ for location but D- for the rest.

Old Communist era building,needs some work,more box spring than mattress,internet only in common area.Perfect location, Clean,Friendly staff. Engage the staff to learn a little about them to enhance the share of information received. Better signage on front needed,Time of year will determine sweltering w/o a/c or cool in Sept. kitchen small but functional, 4th floor walk up, small lockers in room, bring lock, laundry&drinks available. Oksana, the perfect English speaking blonde was the BEST.

Generally very secure, enough space to lock up my laptop. However, one of my dresses went missing. Rather than blaming the hostel though, I should blame the Austrailian lawyer who was sharing a ten bed dorm with me as she seemed to have very little respect for the sleep, belongings and felings of people around her.
