The for day and night life very central hostel is two floors in an ancient building, nice atmosphere with sufficient space. Big kitchen table, lounge for 10 persons, very competent and always helpful staff made me have a very satisfactory stay. To be improved: Lavatories (washing sinks) are on the floor.

Exceptional hostel. Went there two times and it feels like a second home and living room already. Staff and people were great!

Very unfriendly stuff

If you want to stay in convinient place to be a walking range to all sights - this is the perfect one! Staff is friendly, beds are soft, rooms are clean. There was two things that I didn't like - slow wifi (but there are computers with good speed), and if you wake up not so early (11-12) it may happen that there will be no hot water for having a shower, so be an early bird:)

Really nice and friendly atmosphere + Super comfortable location (close to railway station, city centre, close to all you need in the city - historical places, close to Dumskay str. there all parties takes place:) )

The staff were so helpful and kind! They even helped me arrange my travels to Moscow without a hiccup! The location was amazing, I was able to walk to all the main attractions St. Petersburg has to offer plus was just blocks away from great traditional Russian cantinas and fun night life! Definitely an A+ spot, I would recommend it highly to any of my passing friends. I hope everyone at CubaHostel is well and I will miss them dearly.

Cuba Hostel is a great place. It has friendly staff, genuine "hostel-like" atmosphere, convenient location just couple of steps from both Nevsky and Dumskaya str., a hub of cheap, shabby bars and pubs. CH´s lobby room is a nice place where you can meet up with other housemates and share stories of this wonderful city. The only thing I found somewhat irritating was the houses´s door bell. Sometimes you need patience to endure 5-7 mins before it starts working..especially annoying in winter season

Staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. Very central location and really fun place to hang out and meet other people who live/study/are visiting the city.

I wouldn't think of staying anywhere else in Saint Petersburg, nowhere else will you find such a combination of friendly staff, perfect atmosphere, cleanliness and brilliant location. It really is a home away from home

Cubahostel is a perfect place to stay for people who want to see the most beautiful part of Petersburg without using any transport. The localisation of the hostel couldn't be better. Moreover the hostel gives you possibility to meet other people from all around the world, have fun with them, hang out in the common living room. What is really important to me, staff was very friendly and helpfull, open to advise f.e. where to eat or what is worth to see.

A lovely hostel, extremely well located with extremely friendly staff. This made for a great atmosphere and added to a great holiday.

Very positive atmosphere and the staff especially..Place for young vigorous people. I recommend this hostel to anybody who loves meeting with people and partying.. You can't get bored at this hostel. A very strong point it's the localization. Strict city center. Maybe the water could be warmer sometimes (during winter..) ::):) I enjoyed my stay at this place.. Thank you CubaHostel! Really great hostel, perfect location, you can't find any better in town. Nice, friendly and helpful staff they will find you the best way to spend you staying here. I will definitively come here again

Very small communal area. Dirty toilets. Full of burnt out older travellers. Not very fun. Very small lockers. Staff not very lively. Good location.

The rooms were quite cold when the hostel was not as full, and the staff wasn't the same without Ana!

I really enjoyed the stay, but especially when the hostel was full I always had to shower with cold water which is not acceptable. In the 8 bed room, the blankets consisted of a white sheet and a thin woolen blanket which wasn't washed after the previous person left. It's winter and this is definitely not warm enough. Apart from that I liked staff, the atmosphere and the location was very good.

relaxing. comfortble bunk bedds. Although one staff member had perhaps a tad too much to drink on new years, they were always helpfull and attentive.
