noisy because of youth people in hostel... but the staff was realy nice and the location great.

Stayed 4 nights, hostel is very close to the main city street and generates a really good atmosphere for meeting people. Wifi was a little bit dodgy at times, but we lived. There are several individual showers and toilets and the kitchen is well equipped. The hostel as a whole was clean and tidy and there were lockers in the rooms. Would stay again.

Very friendly and helpful staff and they speak very good English!

If you like to have party, this is the place to go! Most guests we met came home between 3am and 5am. If you are looking for a more relaxed place, we can only recommend SoulKitchen where we stay for two nights. The location is perfect, right in the center of everything! Kitchen is good enough to make a simple dish but definitely too small for such a big hostel.

Well run and laid back hostel. Great location. Lousy kitchen if you want to cook for yourself.

Pros: hostel is situated in the city centre, the stuff is friendly, the linen is clean, there is free tea and coffee available (it's perfect if you're not a gourmet). Cons: the hostel is in some want of repair , in some want of cleaning up, the windows also in want of cleaning, the walls and doors don't keep off the noise so the sond of voices, the sounds of people talking, taking shower and walking about are very audible until 5 in the morning.

Staff is polite and helpful. they are really interested in every guest. atmosphere is funny. 90% of guests are foreigners, age 18-25. rooms are clean.location is perfect, near Kazansky Cathedral and a bus station

The staff is great and the location is great. I will definitely stay here again when visiting St. Petersburg. They have a kitchen with supplies that came in very handy, so if you want to save money by cooking dinner you can do so. The hostel is within walking distance from great restaurants, clubs, and tourist attractions. I've also met some awesome people here.

The Cubahostel is the best hostel ever!! Great location, good prices, and the main important thing is atmosphere! Everybody is friendly, and staff helped me a lot.

Is a good place for visiting a few of days de the city, the locarion is excellent, but i have to pay for a locker and the dryer was damage, i like so much the atmosphere was so relax

I enjoyed things which depend less on the hostel than the clientele: 1) people in my 4-bed mixed dorm were considerate so I could sleep well and 2) we had interesting conversations in the kitchen-dining room and the lounge. Two hotplates for cooking is not enough for 30/40 people. Staff ist VERY helpful.

Nice place on a great location

We had a great time at the hostel! Special thanks to Oksana for organizing parties with her friends. can highly recommend staying here for visiting St.Pete as it is very central. Make sure you also check the nearby cafe Zoom (ask for directions in the reception).

I love this hostel a lot! Best stuff EVER! Those guys give you everything you need: fun, information, interesting conversations... Definitely will come back to see you guys again in summer!

Wonderfull place! Even better if you decide to stay more than just a few days. It is very comfortable and homy and it will definitely earn you new friends. They even had a maslenitsa party during these days when i've stayed)

I loved the atmosphere of the cubahostel so much, staff is amazing: helpful and funny. Location is perfect, just few steps to the main street, a lot of nice bars and cafes in the area.
