The most positive (and almost the only one) feature of this hostel is its location - almost on the Old Market Square and near to many clubs and restaurants. The rest was in total mess - for staff we have to always wait in reception or look for them somewhere around the hostel, only half of toilets were working for all guests and in your room you may find nothing more than bed and small self/desk and all of this isn't worth its high price...

There was no sign in the street, The rooms was dirty. The situation of the building was not good, they should repair and paint the building and the rooms.

The staff were very smart on Tallinn information and the location of the hostel is perfect, not that many places for seven euros give you a view of the townhall when you step out the front door, loooooooooooved it and I will return!

It was really nice to stay in this hostel. The place is in the heart of Tallinn,so you can easily find your way to every place you want to see.Always smiling staff helps you with all your questions and they do everything for your comfort. And the owner Denis is a very nice person he can help you to organize a trip or to rent the bikes. I would recommed it to all who want to enjoy Tallinn for 100%!!!!

Wouldn't recommend unless they fix up the space, holes in bed sheets, odd smell in room, other than that is was descent, atmosphere was nothing special

Great location but still was extremely hard to find as there were no signs on the door. The place is dingy but has a nice atmosphere and the value is pretty ok. If you're planning a party trip with a group, taking a dorm here is a great idea.

Great laid-back atmosphere, but a proper shower would be awesome.

Great location in the beautiful Old Town of Tallinn. It was fun to hang out in a cosy bar. Cool and easy going staff that all hostels should have. Fast Wi-Fi is also available, which is really convenient. The friendly atmosphere made my simple stop over for a flight in the cheapest bed I could find into something more. Had interesting conversations with interesting people. A welcome suprise. Definitely going to stay at The Dancing Eesti again when visiting Tallinn :)

The hostel is greatly located in Old Town, however, we had a trouble sleeping first night because of neighbours in the room who were drinking in their beds till 3 pm. We spoke to the staff about it and they had a word with them so this is a great plus! I would not say that the hostel is very clean, but the staff is very helpful. And yeah, if you need to go to bed at 9pm and get up at 5a, perhaps another hostel will be better choice. If you enjoy bars, you may like it because it has its own bar.

There was construction on going, they probably should have mentioned this. Staff very friendly though, and great value, great location, not many toilets though. DO NOT go to the Red Emperor though. Craig the violent owner there kicked me out on the 1st of july because i was drunk and didn't want to go to bed, despit being a harmless drunk. Him not being harmless, a drunken hypocrit known for his anger. He cancels peoples bookings so that they can't leave the negative review too. the esti is fine
