The AC didn't work and it wasn't possible to open any window. So after a few days it was really humid in the room, because of the shower. Also, it can be useful to make a note about how to turn on the water taps.

The location is good and the staff are friendly and helpful enough, if you can find them. Called the front desk three times without any answer. Returned call twice to be rudely told it was transferred to a cell of the owner who was not working for another 45 minutes. Office closed twice when looking for assistance. No in room coffee or fridge. No security and outdated locks. Coffee machine available in the lobby which office will pay for but the creamers were rancid.

This hotel was very good for it's price. If you are planning to stay in Niagara (Ontario) definitely this is your best option.

Diplomat inn is not too near to the bustling life at the Queen Victoria park area- now that hornblower is up, there's a whole lot of excitement there compared to Skylon. DONT GO TO SKYLON- it's not worth it. so if I may suggest, stay closer to Queen Victoria Park. But if cost doesn't permit, Diplomat is a short walk away from the place, though dark at night. Overall, the place was alright, not too shabby but if I didn't see the cleaner cleaning my room I might be suspicious abt the cleanliness.

The place isn't overly fancy but the staff and location make up for it completely. I would definitely stay here again.

Excellent little place. It isn't RIGHT next to the falls, but a leisurely 15-minute stroll away, just on the outside of the flashy bright casino strip next to the falls, so not a loud place good for light sleepers, with excellent soundproofing. Large rooms with large beds and fully functional AC/heater. Friendly staff that I've barely seen, but fresh towels are delivered very frequently and rooms and hallways are very clean. Feels very safe, neighborhood is quiet with plenty of food options
