Stayed here for 4 nights and loved it. Room was lovely, spacious, decorated like a boutique hotel. Staff were really nice, helpful in pointing us in the right direction for everything and great knowledge of the local area. We'd gladly stay here again, has everything we needed and more. C'est formidable!

The very helpful and friendly english speaking staff here can make good reccomendations for things to do in and around Yangshuo. The rooms are clean and have quite a few unexpected amenities, including a computer in the room (Wow!), stereo with a collection of music, and comic books in Chinese. There is also a good sized kitchen, if you want to cook. It is away from the bar area around West St. as well so it is very quite if that is what you are looking for.

My stay at Donkey Hostel was so comfortable that I felt like I was staying at " home away from home". Staffs / Boss were friendly and very helpful, informative too. Located at the street besides "WEST STREET" shopping . From the Bus station,walk all the way straight in, (10-15 mins).Look to your left, see a 'leisure inn yang shuo '(New & Taller),Straight on, where there is a Chinese restaurant, (some bicycles for rent right outside the restaurant), turn left & straight in.
