Best hostel ever! So easy to meet like-minded travellers. Even though the facilities etc are amazing, it's actually the staff that make this hostel the best ever.

The staff at dreamers hostel are exceptionally helpful and friendly, it is easily the best run hostel we've stayed at on our travels, a great atmosphere and the easiest hostel to meet other travelers. There are great excursions everyday but it's also good to stick around the hostel too. People mark it down for location but it's actually perfect for the national park which is where everyone ends up going, it's really very easy. I couldn't speak more highly of this place!

Staff are AMAZING. Location not near the beach but closer to everything else to do surrounding Santa Marta so maybe better? Super close to huge shopping mall with all you need and public buses to national park etc. Nice friendly chilled comman area with garden, pool, bar, restaurant. Kitchen dirty, but due to people not cleaning up after themselves. Would definitely stay again.

Is a good hostel with great pool and good location to go to Tayrona Park, the offer good tours also, the only think that they have to improve are the comon bathrooms, there are only 2 toilets for the sharing rooms. The best is the italian food, really good, I enjoed eating there all the days!!

I've visited many hostels in South America and this has by far been the best. Amazing! Friendly helpful staff, good beds, large lockers, pool, pool table, even an italian restaurant! It's also near to a mall that has an Exito and Atms. They try and get people together with quizzes and pool tournaments and they do a tour to somewhere in the national park everyday. Whether you love parties or want to chill this hostel accommodates everyone and I would recommend to anyone staying in Santa Marta.

Loved this place! Staff is incredibly friendly and willing to help. The pool with its bar, pooltable is an easy place to meet other people. Indeed out of center, but with the bus you be there in 10 minutes, which is an experience by itself. Room India could use an AC though. Cold showers were a plus to me since its really warm. Diana makes a great breaskfast as well as the juice that comes along with it. Would definately come back. Esther, Gini, Ricardo and Diana; thanks! El Holandes.

Great hostel for meeting people, friendly staff, clean rooms and pool. Highly recommended. Only downside, far from restaurants, you have to take a taxi, but luckily taxis are cheap.

We, my daughter and I, were greeted so warmly. The staff, accomodation and facilities were quite amazing. The guests were also amazing and welcoming and shared their stories of where they had been and where they are going! Absolutely terrific place. We were initially going to stay at a hotel in Santa Marta and am very happy that we stayed at The Dreamer!

This a model what a hostel should be. Everything was on property. Pool, bar, clean dorms, restaurant, and a fantastic staff. Only drawback there was little to no hot water in the showers. Not a big deal since Santa Marta was sticky hot; however it would be nice to take a hot shower after a 5 day hike to the lost city.

What an awesome hostel!! The staff is super helpful and knowledgeable, and the location is really easy to get to nearby grocery stores/shopping, and the Simon Bolivar museum. Rooms are clean, beds are really comfortable. You're never bored at this hostel, with the pool and daily activities and excursions. Would definitely stay here again.

The staff at The Dreamer is the best you can find. They are friendly and helpful and will take very good care of you. You could not ask for better staff and they really make the hostel amazing. The pool is great, the rooms are clean, the food is tasty and there is a pool-side bar. It's a great place to stay.

Brilliantly clean and friendly hostel. Very chilled out with an excellent pool to relax by. Can organise tours to the lost city and other places with no extra cost. It isnt too close to Santa Marta central but there is little there to see it is close however to a large supermarket and shopping centre if needed. Provides a kitchen as well as a restaurant and the restaurant food is lovely! Had a great time here and will be returning soon!

Great place. Fills in the gaps where Santa Marta can't meet the pace. A good mix between party hostel and chilled place to stay. Worth a look. Ask for Ricardo for a Salsa dance!!
