We paid to stay in the executive suite which was really nice for a hostel but a Bit overpriced. Beautiful big room with tv and ensuite. However there was no hot water tap in the shower and the bed was super hard. Hostel had a nice relaxed vibe and staff were really great!!

One of the best hostels I have ever stayed in! Very social atmosphere, great bar, delicious restaurant, well equipped guest kitchen, comfy beds, helpful staff. Location is a bit out of town but the hostel is so good you don't really want to leave. Huge supermarket a few minutes away and good location for getting to tayrona. Cannot recommend this place highly enough.

Dreamer was really chill. Staff was super friendly, great facilities and very clean. The only downfall was that it is way outside the city centre, but a cab downtown only costs COP 6000. Would definitely stay again.

Very good Hostel with a nice atmosphere. Staff really friendly and nice (except one of them, but probably expected with a staff this big).

This hostel is a great place to relax in a safe place before or after doing a hike in Tayrona or to the Ciudad Perdida. However, it is significantly more expensive than many other hostels in Santa Marta and the rooms still dont have AC.

The hostel was great! It had everything you need and more. The optional actives provided each day were fantastic and well organised. The rooms were clean and spatious. The staff were exceptional! The resteraunt was very well priced and had great food! Would definately recommend this hostel when exploring around Santa Marta

Literally the best hostel and we returned about 5 times. Location is far from Santa Marta but excellent for getting to Palamino and Tayrona, taxis for everywhere else come instantly when called. Diego and his colleagues were all WONDERFUL and really made us feel welcome and at home all the time. Juices and food top notch! Not a party hostel as such but really good social scene in the evenings, some rooms seem to be pretty much sound proofed! Dreamers is our absolute top pick!

Dreamers hostel gave us a really nice stay in Santa marta. The staff is very friendly and personal. The facilities offered are of high standards. We extended our stay for couple of nights because we enjoyed it so much! Highly recommend!!

The Dreamer Hostel is a beautiful property and the staff is extremely helpful and nice. That said, I have had problems with being overcharged. Instead of allowing you to pay for meals and drinks at the time of purchase, they keep a running a list for you and tell you a number that you owe at the end of your stay. They do not offer an itemized list unless you ask. I stayed at both Dreamers, in Santa Marta and Palomino, and both times I was overcharged. So check your bill!!

One of my favorite hostels in Colombia! Really great vibes. Only downside was the location.. it's not really near anything so unless you just want to stay at the hostel a bunch (which is totally fine) there isn't anything else to do.

Great hostel. Super location to dodge the traffic and get to tayrona, minca and the lost city. If I could give a better grade than excellent to the staff I would- super knowledgeable, friendly and keen to get involved with the guests. The big supermarket across the road is very helpful for picking up supplies for tayrona and the lost city. Dorms with aircon are very clean and lockers are big enough to hold your full back pack. Lower bunks are better for charge points if you can snag one.

Really the best of all possible worlds. Staff is exceptionally friendly, everything is clean, and the atmosphere is great. A good place if you want to just chill out, but also great bar if you want to do a little more in the night. Excellently located if you're interested in discovering Santa Marta's surrounding area. Can't recommend this hostel enough. Only downside is that the meals are not cheap at the restaurant here.

Had a great time - staff is amazing and so is the pool. Really fun hostel. Sort of far away from Santa Marta but close to Tayrona and Taganga, so depends on what you want to do. Had a great time, really unique setup with large outdoor common area filled with hammocks and a swimming pool.

This place is by a long way the best hostel in Colombia. The staff have been extremely helpful and a good laugh from start to finish. we accidentally made an extra reservation and it was sorted without any problems. The place is chilled and feels like a resort where you can easily chill and spend a week without leaving the hostel (go to taganga for the night). We´ve already come back once. Ill be back again for sure! shout out to all the staff who made the stay here muy tranquilo

Perfect 'hub hostel' for Minca, Taganga, Tayrona and Palomino (the bus is a 2 minute walk) Hostel is sociable, chilled and good for meeting people. The best thing about this place though is the staff - Diego and Gustavo are the best and will do all they can to help you out.

Great hostel, further away from center so many travellers get to know each other ad do activities like the trek or day trips together. Party hostel, loud, awesome

I want to like this hostel, but couldn't recommend. At checkout we were charged for two nights instead of one, but they were rushing us to get our bus so we didn't spot it until later. We've been emailing for a refund which has yet to happen. At check in they couldnt locate our key, and the previous occupant still had it and came into our private room well after it was ours. It has a great pool and bar. The staff are lovely, but it seems a bit disorganised. Not a great sleep

Unfortunately the room was uncomfortably hot with no air conditioning, so we didn't sleep. Other travellers in the dorm left the door open to help bring air in, but it brought in mosquitoes and a cat, which urinated on someones case. The pool area, bar and hammocks are great, and the locationis great for Tayrona park, but too far from santa marta in my opinion. The staff are friendly. At checkout theytried to charge us for two beers which we didn't have, but we got them removed
