The only thing that lets this place down is the staff! You have to order all food and drinks from reception but the staff aren't very friendly or helpful and very inefficient! The pool is great, location is perfect by the beach and rooms are spacious and very clean. The food served is good but not very traditional - pizza and pasta! Would stay again despite the staff.

Dreamer Hostel is probably the best hostel in my trip. the restaurant is really good, they serve nice, tasty and cheap food, the have a lot of dishes (even good Thai food) absolutely loved the restaurant!! the staff was helpfull and they provide a lot of info about everything, also to other hostel's guest, we did Guajira tour with them and I highly recommend. rooms big and fresh, they have aircon!!

Good hostel with nice pool and big rooms. There are cheaper hostels next door. Drinks were moderately priced. The bar was lacking in atmosphere so you need a bit of a group.

Good hostel with pool right on the beach. Staff are helpful but atmosphere is quite exclusive and people not so friendly, more a hostel for rich kids come to Colombia to lay by the pool and talk about how many drugs they did. Pretty expensive also for what you get.

A nice spacious hostel right by the sea. No aircon in the rooms, but they stayed quite cool with the fans. Pool didn't look too clean, but the sea is nice and warm to go in! The staff were not very helpful at all which is a shame and also told us tubing was 35,000 peso from outside the hostel, however if you walk across the road next to Tiki hostel you can do it for 20,000 peso, so definitely go there! Nowhere to cook, but the restaurant serves really nice food.

Really nice location with lovely pool, perfect place to chill out for a few days in the sun. However probably expensive for what you get and the staff are hopeless! Completely disinterested....

Absolutely LOVED my stay here! The property is gorgeous and very tropical feeling with lots of palm trees and a nice swimming pool. Restaurant has good food and bar has decent happy hour. Private beach entrance, and you can rent tubes for river tubing literally right outside the front door (20 minute walk back along beach from where river tubing ends). Social but you can definitely get a good nights sleep. Stayed in a private which was really great. Highly recommend this hostel to anyone!

Lovely clean hostel, friendly staff. Yoga classes were great. Very close to the beach. Would have been nice to have a kitchen but food was cheap at the hostel and there were plenty of places to eat for cheap close by.

Good pool area and location right near the beach. Not a lot around so you only need a few nights here. Staff we not as good as santa Marta and ordering process at reception for drinks is double handling and painful. Wi fi no existent

Great location, as it literally backed onto Playa Donaire. Staff were the nicest I have had in all of South America, and were all interested in improving guest enjoyment. The dorms were a little unclean and could really use mosquito nets. Good buffet breakfast, but rest of food overpriced.
