Very nice hostel, staff on front desk are very nice and facilities are good.atmosphere was a bit flat and should arrange some social guests for guests. Also menu could do with some updating for diner although best breakfast I had in South America.

The grounds are very very beautiful and well kept. The people are friendly and the accommodations are hip. The food is a bit pricey but very delicious! It is a 20 min walk in from the main road there are young boys on motorcycles willing to drive you in. Overall a nice place to stay!

Awful Wi-Fi system. Nice pool area. A little clique, maybe because it feel more like a resort than a hostel (so you may think that's a positive). Close to beach. Food OK, not great. Room smelt a little damp. Staff helpful and friendly.

Beautiful garden and nice pool. Wifi can only connect 18 at a time but once you're connected it works really well. Toilet basket gets emptied three times a day so it doesn't fill up. Perfect place to chill for a few days. Restaurant food gets boring quick though. Where is the local food instead of the usual pizza an pasta. I want my empanadas!

Nice big room but for a single person who had to pay for a double room, I found it quite expensive.

The Dreamer in Palomino was an absolute dream! The overall staff and volunteers who man the bar were great! Super friendly and accommodating! The location was great because it was very close the beach. Food and happy hour were good. The only con is they neglect to share info about other bus providers that would take you straight to Cartagena. There is a direct bus (Marsol - 311 6013467) a 5-7 min moto bike ride from hotel that will take you to Cartagena for 70,000 pesos. Well worth the money!

Hi, thanks for your nice review! we are so happy you enjoyed our facilities in particular the restaurant. Also all the staff was informed about your nice words on them. Regarding the bus ride you mention it looks overpriced for us as you can go to Cartagena for almost half price with the same trasportation system. Hope to see you again soon in Palomino

I loved staying at dreamer palomino, I was made to feel welcome. The food was correct and made loveingly, the bar staff made lovely cocktails. Toilet door didn't lock in my dorm, so I had a vulnerable first meeting with the cleaning lady, but nevertheless we remained firm friends for the rest of the week.

Very nice, pretty hostel by the beach. Dorms are big enough and the beds are comfortable. there are lockers in each room. The restaurant and the bar are very nice and the food is good. It's a pretty clean hostel in general (rooms and bathrooms). Staff are friendly and helpful. There is a nice swimming pool with lots of bed to chill around the pool. Really enjoyed my stay there and recommend this hostel if you want to stay in Palomino.

We stayed at the dreamer for 6 nights. Our room was very nice and clean. Housekeeping came in every day. The social areas we great. The breakfast buffet had lots of fresh fruit and eggs. The food at their restaurant had huge servings and was very tasty. On the down side, the pool had gotten fairly dirty near the end of our stay. They went to "clean" it one day and it didn't help much. The second time seemed to work. Overall we had a great time here! We will continue to recommend it.

Almost a replica of The Dreamer in Santa Marta but with a more spread out resort vibe. Excellent pool table and cool volleyball field. nice big pool. You lose a few points for cleanliness, just pave the walk ways to the rooms it would minimise all the sand on the floor and bathrooms. Nobody washes there feet in the little wash pools!. And value for money 3500 for a 4% Aguila! Beer happy hour? Por favor. Staff do well! Enjoy your stay!

Dream turned into nightmare? We were not satisfied by staying in Dreamer. Firstly they overbooked, so the private double room we reserved 1 week ahead wasn't available. We had to stay in a dorm for a night. They offered us a room in 'the hostel' next door for half the price (the room was half as nice) & 1 free breakfast Later we found out it was the staff housing. They did not clean the room (in 3 days!). Staff was lazy and slow. Last night we got food poisoning from the restaurant. Bye Dreamer!

Right on the beach and a nice pool. The breakfast in the morning is really good. A proper guest kitchen would be nice and extra toilets and showers for the dorm guests.

The Hostel should add a common kitchen area for visitors to use, just like in many other hostels. A stove, pots, pans, dishes, and a refrigerator. Here there is none. The menu is limited, making long stays boring to be eating the same thing every day. A beautiful place to stay tho, and very close to the beach. (50m) A very LONG wait in line at checkout (20 mins).. But was sorted quickly when it was our turn... Please speed up!! Friendly staff!

Dear Costumer, thanks for your review! we are happy you enjoyed Palomino and our beach! Guest kitchens in the hostels of Palomino are usualy open BBQ spaces, we do have a very nice area for visitors to cook, we have plenty of stoves but you have to ask for it as the area is in the open garden and for cleaning reasons we keep it away. Our staff is always able to help with this! we'll try to do check out faster!! thanks again and hope to see you again veryyy soon!!

Amazing hostel to hang out in, which you'll need if staying in palomino where there isn't a real city to do anything other than then the beach. Downfall was the WiFi wasn't working for a few days because of its secluded location which made lounging less inviting. You're still hours away from some of tayrona ' s famous beaches and 2 hours from Santa marta. I'd stay here the night before trekking to the lost city or right after as long as you bring your bags to the entrance of ciudad perdida.
