Seems like a very nice place to hang out in hanoi for a couple of days. Only a 5 min walk to the lake and 10min to the old quarter. Maybe it tries to be a bit 2 cheesy sometimes but its a cool place and can have some good fun in the rooftop bar and food is exellent. If you want a party hostel this is the place. The booking system is a bit shambolic. - the staff didn't know who was in which bed. Whilst I was out they gave my bed to someone else so I had to move room.
Saying that the place is cheap, really clean, free breakfast. Not very central but a walk or moto ride. As a solo travel it wasn't my scene - too large & impersonal but i'm sure groups would have a blast!If you want a party hostel this is the place. Totally awesome in every aspect. Wouldn't think twice about going back to this place. This hostel is very loud and is definitely geared toward the "frat party" demographic. There are regular bucket and toga parties, so if you just want to relax in peace it can be difficult. One of the best, most helpful hostels ive stayed in. Tours organised through hostel were great and really easy to organise. Staff were incredibly helpful and patient!
