Great hostel. Staff is nice, place is clean and comfortable. It feels like walking into your living room. Their smoothies and pool make it the perfect chill out zone. Staff is very, very knowledgeable and helpful with everything. The walk to town is a bit long, but it was my favorite part of Zadar. You get to see a real "suburb" and not just the stores and churches of the old town.

This hostel was very close to the bus station and therefore very convient. The staff is friendly and helpful with any questions. There is also a small pool and BBQ out back which make it a great place to stay for longer trips. There is also a nice bar/lounge area, but ni Croatia when the weather is nice nothing beats a pool! The rooms are a little small, but that is to be expected at an inexpensive hostel. Overall a great place to stay.

The staff is lovely and very helpfull. But only go there, if you intend to have a party night. No chance for peaceful sleep. But great place for party, I guess...

Very nice hostel to stay at. The people there are very welcoming and the hostel is very clean.

A good place if you like to chill out. Nice swimming pool, bar and terrace. The staff is friendly. It's just a little bit far from the old town, but the walk by the waterfront is really pleasant and beautiful.

The location is great - right in the community near the water and the bus. Awesome staff that do everything they can to make sure you have a good time. Comfy and clean. Nice bar and make sure to get the breakfast smoothie. Stay here in Zadar!

I have been travelling for 6 months now and this hostel is one of my FAVOURITES! Its got a great atmosphere. The staff were fantastic, very friendly and helpful. The directions are good and most importantly great showers! Thank you for a wonderful stay :)

We had an wonderul stay at the drunken monkey! Great staff, helpful , clean rooms! Location is perfect short way to the water and in to town and only 5 mins from the bus station! Good place to meet other travellers:)

Excellent hostel. Clean rooms, friendly staff and a pool out back. It’s a 20 minute walk to the old town but only 5 from the bus station. There’s a sociable bar downstairs so you can meet other travellers. No kitchen or breakfast options.

Had a great stay here. The guys will do anything to ensure you enjoy and make the most of Zadar, They are both very well traveled and keen to sit with you and give advice. Best showers/bathrooms i have ever seen in a hostel and the bar/chillout area is sweet. Can def recommend!

Great hostel - the owners are both very friendly and helpful. The hostel is very clean, modern, and inviting. It is a short walk into the old town, but the views of the water along the way are gorgeous and it is a very friendly area, so the stroll is quite enjoyable. I was there before the summer started, so it wasn't quite the party atmosphere that you read in the description, but that is to be expected and the owners definitely made us very comfortable and kept us entertained :)

A wonderful hostel! The atmosphere is really laid back, but fun in the evenings in the lounge/bar. The staff are genuine and personable and really seem like they care about you, which makes a difference! They are knowledgeable and give great recommendations for things to do in town/restaurants, etc. The facilities are all great. If I come back to Zadar, I'll definitely stay here again! I felt at home here. My only complaint is that it is a bit expensive- how about adding a breakfast?

A beautiful homely hostel in a great location. New, clean and classy with an awesome sun terrace where you can drink your smoothies from the bar downstairs. The staff are fun and know everything about the whole area and can answer anything you could ever think to ask. They even run their own tours and will help you sort out all your connections. Could have stayed for a month drinking and hanging out with Kyle and Chris. Thanks for the best stay of my trip. See you guys next year!!!

If you're spending time in Zadar I can't imagine a better place to stay than this hostel. Very helpful, friendly staff and awesome facilities and rooms.

Great hostel and great owners who are very interesting to talk to. The bar is very cool as well which makes it more of a pleasure to socialize with other travelers.

By far the best hostel i´ve stayed in. The owners are very friendly and helpful and there is a very good atmosphere at the place. Before I stayed there i´ve read reviews complaining about the distance to the old town. As I see it, 1: it´s actually not far at all, just a nice walk. 2: The part of town where the hostel is placed is very special and an attraction itself. (loved that part of town :-) ) If I come back to Zadar I definitely know where to stay and I highly recommend it.
