Great location for the Penmachno bike trail (less than 5 mins cycle down the road - and fortunately downhill on the way back!). Excellent pub downstairs, with some nice local beers. Only a few mins drive from Betws - which is fortunate, as the pub doesn't serve food (there is a very well equipped kitchen though). Room itself was fine- only 4 of us which was good. Tea/coffee and biscuits in the room was a nice touch.

We were the only ones staying at the Eagles (pub downstairs was closed during our stay). Quaint old place, nice owner, comfy bunk beds in our room. The Eagles is a distance from Betws-y-Coed, though.

We really liked this hostel. It is placed in a lovely and quiet place. This hotel has all the facilities needed, the kitchen is fully equiped. The rooms are neat and tidy. I recommend this place for everyone!!

We both agreed that. It only were the facilities provided far in excess of what may be expected for the price paid. The owners were most welcoming, friendly and informative and we had an excellent stay. We would definitely come back and recommend.

Great bunkhouse and perfect for mountain biking in the area. The only improvement would be soap and handtowels in the the communal toilets

A friendly, helpful, welcoming staff. A clean and well equipped kitchen. Even had free tea and coffee making facilities in each room. For those not wishing to self-cater there was good pub food just 2 miles down the road. The bar at The Eagles was well stocked and had a good choice of single malts, ales and a great atmosphere.

Great accommodation above a lovely pub in a picturesque village. We stayed only one night but the rooms and bathrooms were lovely. Also the pub had a great cosy atmosphere perfect for a pint after a long day.
