perfect location, close to everything in Koh Samui. really nice and friendly staff. the italian restaurant is excellent and the pizza really good. The room are very confortable and cleaned everyday.

a little out of the way from the main backpacker mecca down amid the plus hotels this tidy little place has a bar and serves italian food. the room was large and clean with air con and hot showers. I slept comfortably and walked through the Poppies hotel to the beach. All in all a good place to stay for a couple of days.

I was really pleased with the service and staff, I go back and definitely recommend it. Thanks for everything and see you next year.

The Empire was just an okay place to stay. There were a lot of bugs in our bathroom as if the room hadn\'t been used for quite some time. There was a dead snail stuck to the ceiling and a few dead spiders. The room itself was fine. The safe was a good touch. The showers were okay, except the water was shut off one night as I was showering. There were also mysterious noises behind the building like loud bangs, but we never investigated. The staff was nice and the food at the restaurant was good.

Worst hotel I've ever stayed at. We spent over 4 nights there and my room was cleaned only on one occasion. Even then the staff simply made the sheets up without replacing them. On the first night the Air Con was not working and we had to sleep with our windows open. On another occasion the bathroom door was jammed and we did not have access to a bathroom for an entire night. The following morning a staff member simply kicked the bathroom door in and broke the hinges. The list goes on!!!!
