The four bedroom room was very tiny so you would not want to stay there other than sleeping. Bathroom was quite dirty (sink and toilet). It was a surprise that you needed to apply the sheets to your bed yourself! But I guess that's what the no frills accommodation is a about. This was all first time stayin in a hostel, so overall very good value for money on very basic accommodation where you also get breakfast and use sauna for free.

Owner Comment (Hide)
Thank you very much for your comment. Here at the Finnish church we pride ourselves with the standard of cleanliness of which we have been awarded 5 stars by Southwark council inspectors. Therefor it is a great shame that you felt that the room or bathroom was not clean. Rooms are inspected daily, but as in this particular room two other guests had already stayed there for two nights, I think there were some marks of daily usage in the bathroom which we do not clean while guests are booked in.

Very quiet. Very nice people (mostly finnish) The location is a little bit remote, but by tube it takes only 20 minutes to city. Breakfast quite basic, the room (4 beds all female) is very small and after 8 pm there is no access to the communal area. But above all it is quiet, no party people. It's a place I would recommend if you need a place where you can sleep! The area is also quite and I felt safe returning there at nighttime all by myself.
