Very small bedroom for 4. Hardly any room on the floor for the bags.

Lovely hostel with a really nice terrace to chill and relax. The staff on reception were exceptionally helpful and friendly. Very clean and secure place. The breakfast included was very good as well.

The only downside is the fact i will have to got back to get my deposit due to the fact on check the reception desk was closed . which due to the fact I work in London is okay but for others it cloud a problem .

Very good hostel, though a bit lacking in decent social atmosphere. Good nice sleep, ok breakfast. Not many magazines, books, or other relaxing facilities. Seems set up for families.

I loved this hostel overall but because staff leaves after 10:00pm they have a security weakness. The problem afterhours is that at least one individual was repeatedly coming into the hostel after normal hours soliciting money and sleeping in unused racks.

Overall, a really nice experience. The stuff was friendly, free breakfast was simple but good.. the only thing I have to mention was that the insulation was pretty poor. All night long you could hear the cars driving outside and it was just generally a little too noisy for me. Other than that a great value for money and a nice location, too! Will probably stay there again.

Owner Comment (Hide)
Thank you so much for the feedback and positive comments. In a busy inner city area like Rotherhithe, the traffic noise can sometimes be a bit overwhelming to us silence loving Finns. The building had all insulation redone in 2007 with major overhaul of the entire building and things like the insulation were improved upon, but with a busy street outside, there will always be some noise coming through. Glad you enjoyed other aspects of your stay, we hope you return for a visit in the future.

It was nice to feel like being at home for a while! :) Thanks to the staff!

Mine was a four person room, with only two hooks in the bathroom for towels. No wall hooks at all in the room itself for hanging up anything. There was a cupboard with four shelves - the only place to store your stuff. The space under the beds was too low for storing anything other than a very thin case and shoes. The floor gets filled with cases and rucksacks, unless you sleep with all your stuff in your bed with you! Please put up lots of hooks for coats, towels, bags. Kiitos!
