I can't say enough good things about the staff. They put up with a lot of questions and let me use the phone about a thousand times. There seem to be a lot of people who came to NZ on work visas, mostly from the UK, at this hostel. The same people spent nearly all day in the common area watching movie after movie which was a little weird. I'm a germaphobe and I thought everything was very clean. Wifi doesn't work great.

One of the kitchen is locked in the night, so you have to think twice and take your food with you in case you want a midnight snack or you are leaving early in the morning. A little bit annoying, but everything else is really nice

Totally loved it, the best hostel I've been. They are always very nice and helpful, the place is very clean, there are 3 very well equipated kitchens. You can ask for free bikes, there is also free tea, cofee, wifi and two free computers for public use. 100% recommended!! Estuve ahí por 3 noches, son súper lindos y comprensivos. Siempre tratan de ayudarte. El ambiente está de maravilla, todo el lugar está muy limpio y amplio. ¡Se los recomiendo muchísimo!

This hostel is not overcrowded. There are 3 kitchens and plenty of bathrooms (including one ensuite in our dorm). The mats aud pillows were confortable. They offer free internet and free parking. We stayed only one night but enjoyer our stay.

Decent enough "homely like" hostel. However, I found it unfortunate that woofers and long termers appeared to "hang out" form closed groups, and constantly hog the downstairs lounge and kitchen. This place therefore is not recommended for lone travellers due to this problem. The hostel itself however scores well across the board and so for that I can give it credit. If this hostel can improve integration and spark bit of fun into the grey atmosphere then we will have a winning outlet down under.

Best hostel I've ever stayed at. Clean, helpful staff, warm blankets, lots of amenities provided. Fun group of people but can also get a quiet night's sleep!

Very small place, so I would suggest definitely booking early. Kent knows everything there is to know about Queenstown. He helped us get everywhere we needed to go, and was super friendly. The (free) wifi was fast, and there is even a phone you can call home for free on. The beds are the most comfortable ever, big fluffy pillows, and amazing comforters. If there is one thing about my New Zealand trip I did right, it was staying here. After my two nights, I didn't want to leave!

Excellent hostel. The staff is very friendly, there are lots of kitchen... but perhaps not enough bathrooms. Even though, a great stay.

Highly recommend! Free wifi/bikes/frisbees/sauna. Excellent and very friendly staff. Lockers in every room with chargers to keep your stuff safe while charging. Very clean with lots of bathrooms. Shared rooms have tons of space, you don't feel cramped like many others. 2 minute walk from town. Great place!!

I have been staying in dozens of hostels and must say, this is truly the best one I've stayed in so far. Staff is superfriendly and correct. Amenities are spotless, everything is kept clean to the max. Nice atmosphere as wel. Power plugs inside lockers, so handy. Free bikes makes for a half day sightseeing around the bay, for free! And yes, free wifi as well. Supermarket around corner, 5 minutes from downtime, gondolla in same street; perfect location. Will stay again!

This is one of the best hostels I've stayed at. Friendly, good size rooms and kitchens, good T.V and DVD player in lounge, free unlimited wi-fi, what more good you want! I will definitely go back next time I am in Queenstown. Staff are great too.

A great hostel for a good value of money. The staff is very friendly and will help you with any problem. Felt welcomed right away! Maybe not the most social hostel I've stayed in, but met some super nice people. In terms of cooking, facilites are good but don't except spices (which you never should anyway :) ). Location is 5 min walk from the centre and close to a supermarket. Would recommend it to anyone, and in comparison to Nomads for example, it's just so much better.

The staff were amazingly nice and helpful. The location was great- close to town and te gondola. The rooms were comfortable and the bathrooms look like they have been updated relatively recently.

I honestly thought this was a slightly above average hostel if it weren't for Chris. This guy is so friendly and personable. He is helpful and has the confidence like he is running the place. He really should be. DVD selection was cool. And the location was good for the city, grocery store and hiking trail. All in all, a good experience.
