My first stay in a hostel in a long while and it was a very positive experience. I started off staying two days and ended up staying for five. The staff that I had the pleasure of dealing with were extremely friendly and helpful. Plenty of amenities and a good location. I would definitely go back.

This hostel seemed very nice, however, as a keen cyclist, the thing that sold it to me was the free cycle hire. Now, I wasn't expecting top quality, but if this is a selling point, I think the bikes should be at least safe. I tried almost all of them (except those already taken), and not one of them was fully functional; many of them were unsafe - the brakes didn't brake at all. I wasn't impressed. I left, as I didn't want to stay somewhere that has so little regard for my safety. Sorry!

The receptionist was really kind with us and helping with everything. They can pick you up from the bus station and lend you bikes all day long. And there's internet for free!

This hostel was more like shared units/B&B rather than the traditional dorms style. My 3 bed shared room had very comfortable single beds (no bunk beds)each with a bedside table + lamp, and wardrobe space. For this room and 2 other doubles there was a shared living room +TV, kitchen and bathroom, which meant there weren't too many others around and it was nice and quiet+ super clean. Free internet and bike hire was great! But wasn't that keen on Hervey Bay as there's not much to do.

A great place to stay, very nice hostel separated into its own units, with own kitchen. There are free bikes to hire, although, nothing is that far away, but there is a cyclepath along the foreshore to take a nice ride!

The Hostel was beautifully clean, beds were comfy, apartments were great. Wished I could have stayed longer.

One of the best Hostel's i've ever stayed in. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, it felt more like staying with family. The Hostel was clean and tidy. It was more like having your own apartment than sharing a dorm! It was in a really good location, jut 10 minute walk and you'd be on the beach and you can use their bikes free of charge! 100% Recommend this hostel especially for those that don't want to share with a roudy group of drunken backpackers!
