The girls working there are really nice and hospitable. I had some money nicked but that was because I was fairly careless with my bag as it seemed like such a homely hostel. But all in all it was quite nice.

My favorite hostel! A very friendly and attentive staff especially Miki and Andreea. A very safe and convenient location by the train station and tourist attractions. Clean bedrooms, hot showers. I make sure to come back every time I'm in Romania Funky Chicken has become like a Romanian second home for me. Highly recommended, especially now that they have free wireless internet.

Usually wouldn't stay at a place that claimed it was "crazy" but it was fine. It's a nice big old house converted into a hostel. Spacious bathrooms, indoor and outdoor common areas, good location, helpful staff. No door locks or lockers though. Attracts some odd types but I had a good time.

This hostel was well located, close to train station and the lovely Cismgiu park. Nice sitting room with international tv. Bathrooms were fine and reasonably clean. For the price it was perfect.

For the price this hostel was OK. Our room was more of a corridor with bunk beds in. However we arrived at 7 in the morning and were shown straight to a bed and it was less than 10 mins walk from the centre. Not a bad place to stay.
