Not a party hostel, which was pretty nice. Friendly English-speaking staff, excellent location near the train station. Would go there again,

free cigarettes are filter-less and remained untouched. good kitchen, living area, dorms and outdoor area. Staff are really friendly and helped us find our way to our next destination! Security is really good, as staff have to let you in the front gate at all hours. it's close to the train station but about 20 mins walk to the historical centre.

15 walk mins to Gara de Nord, 20 mins walk to the main parts of the city centre, shops and bars nearby. Nice and quiet street, nice yard to sit in of an evening. Stay there if you are in Bucharest.

It's a quiet spot, so don't expect to be staying up and talking loudly with your friends, or at all in their court yard. The location is not that interesting but close to the train station. It's a clean and pleasant enough place. The staff was very kind to let us in early before the check in.

They did not have our name on the booking-list. So despite we made a reservation at Funky Chicken Hostel, we had to move to the next and more expensive hostel. They gave us back the pre-booking fee.
