Myself and 4 friends stayed here for a night over in Galway. It worked out at about 25€ a head. If we all chipped in we could have probably got a cheap hotel. Dorms are mixed we had one 4 person room and I booked in as an extra to an right person dorm. With the intention of staying with the intention of staying with them. The right person dorm was smelly and I wouldn't have been comfortable leaving my belongings. The toilet facilities overall were filthy. I'm glad didn't have to use the shower.

I vomited on the floor at 1am Saturday and the man on duty asked me to pay him €20 to clean it up.

Positives: inexpensive & centrally located, Negatives: shower / toilet was on floor below dorm, in need of refurbishment & a good clean, omly one electrical socket in 8 bed dorm, no mirror in dorm!

At first the heating wasn't on. By night it was quite to hot. The facilities could have been much cleaner. The showers are quite unhandy and the hostel doesn't have seperate showers, which is kind of standard in most hostels.

It was extremely COLD in the Room/ Kitchen/ Shower and everywhere else. The Guy at the reception told us thats because the hostel was closed a few days before.

The staff was super friendly, the location was amazing, and the atmosphere was very easy going. Some of the other guests that were there were a little sketchy (older males with that hobo chic look) which could be a litter off putting to females traveling alone, but for the most part they too were friendly. The bathrooms were clean but logistically speaking were a little wonky (none of the doors closed properly, no shelf for soaps). Common room a little dank, but if your out and ab no worries
