Familiar atmosphere, lots of thanks to the crew!

Everything ok

canteen area brilliant fun for a few drinking games before heading out, location can not be anymore perfect and i lived in galway for 4 years. stayed in alot of hostels and Galway City hostel is without a doubt the BEST hostel i/we have ever stayed in.. Lots of love

The Hostel was ok, but i did not like the fact that the kitchentowels for drying the dishes were used to clean the kitchen. The towels were always very dirty and the kitchen was quite nasty, it smelled like mould.

my favorite place \i have stayed at by far. the staff were so friendly and helpful, the atmosphere was great and the people were great. it was cheap, beautiful and right next to the bus station. seriously, this is the best place to stay in galway!

PROS: awesome location near tourist info and bus stn and city centre, secure as fort knox with front door buzzer and room codes changed daily and under-bed lockers, cheap rates, free wifi, free cereal and toast for breakfast, helpful staff CONS: slightly cramped, bathrooms are smelly OVERALL: i personally found this to be a pleasant stay

good hostel, perfect location in the centre of the city near the two bus stations.

Brilliant Location!! Had trouble using the wireless in my room, but no big deal. Easy enough to hang out in the common room and use it in there, or the PC's. Would stay there again and highly recommend this hostel.

Galway is great and Galway city hostel is the best hostel in the world :) miss you, hope we'll see soon again.

Hostel located near everything you need: bus station, tourist information, Eyre Square, pubs, etc. The staff was helpful and friendly. The dorm was nice, not too small, but there were only was plug in the room. The toilets and showers were far from the room (they were on a different floor). The common room is in the kitchen and it is quite small.

Place a little bit noisy (all the room are in front of the commune place). Rooms are corrects. Good situation (near ligne 4 and 2). Just, personnal has very unfriendly and looks so boring to help us.

Good Location. Good Facilities. Average Bathrooms. Good Bed. Good Staff.

Didn't rate Galaway at all. Hostel was ok, but not the best vibe. more of a younger seen than this old man

Although this Hostel was handy to most attractions it was quite rowdy with bar patrons on the adjoining streets. Parking a vehicle could be a problem in the narrow accessway which was littered with rubbush
