Very friendly and helpful staff (it was pretty cool to be greeted with a cup of Sangria). Great location though the directions from the bus station were a little hazy at points. The heating worked wonderfully. Bathrooms not the best, but the shower itself was great. The free walking tour is a must! Very informative and interesting. All-round, a very good night in Sevilla!

The Garden Backpacker was a great time! The hostel is well located, and the staff is very helpful to give you directions for the confusing, narrow streets of Seville. If you happen to go for a more chilled evening, the hostel offers great sangrias & mojitos and on some evenings, a tasteful paella. On my next visit to the city, my stay at the Garden Backpacker in guaranteed! :) The only issue was with the few number of toilets - sometimes there were no vacant seats! Teehee.

I had a good experience staying here. They offered quite a lot of tours and things to do throughout the day. The only downside was that they don't have enough bathrooms and showers.

The bus stop direction from the train station should be clearer, especially because there are multiple exits from the station. I didn't find the bus stop and ended up walking all the way because a nice local guy helped me to find my way. It's actually walkable distance, if you know the way, of course. The bathroom is outside and shared with many people, so you might need to queue.

perfect hostel. very social, excellent kitchen, good clean rooms, lots of power sockets, friendly helpful staff, great free sangria every night and 7e paella (worth it) some nights out in the garden/patio. best hostel i've ever stayed in, particularly in how social it is, with people hanging out and meeting each other in the lounge.

Claudia is an awesome staff I have ever known. I travled for more than three months, and I can tell she is the most friendly staff. About the evening meal, it is brilliant! It's not expensive but the taste is very expensive. Jongheun from South Korea

This is what hostels should be. Amazingly well run. Plenty of activities. Great common areas inside and outside. Always a wonderful staff member at the desk. Despite being large they do a great job of keeping things quiet after midnight but having plenty of activitex out in the city for night owls. I typically write review listing pros and cons but there are really no cons to list. Do you self a favor and stay here.

I have stayed in hostels numerous times and The Garden Backpacker has been my favorite by far! The staff was incredible and they seriously had almost about every route and activity possible all printed out and readily accessible. The garden courtyard was definitely a plus...that and the free sangria offered every night!!!! Anyone who is visiting Seville, this is the place to stay! No doubt about it.

Wow, this hostel is amazing! Having free sangria and cheap tapas at night, and free breakfast in the morning is a fantastic way to meet people! My bunkmates were getting rowdy one night, so I chose to sleep in the common area to try and get some shut eye around 5am, and the guy at the front desk was very apologetic and was ready to kick those guys out. Although I didn't take his offer, the gesture was very much appreciated!
