It felt like the staff is tired of serving customers, they seemed more interested in doing their own business on the computers.

The front desk lady was very nice and conversant and was able to give me directions on how to get places and advice on where to go. The hostel itself was ok, with a cheap, tasty restaurant and solid internet connection. My room was fine, but was filled with BUGS! when I tried to get to sleep. I ended up only sleeping about 3 hours, with the lights on to keep the mosquitoes away, which didn't work because the next morning I was covered in bites.
