The best hostel I have ever stayed at. Ian, Sean, and Prue were wonderful hosts, and Wally is one of the friendliest dogs this side of the earth. Everything about this place is so perfect that I'm almost hesitant to recommend it to lots of people. It's a true hidden gem of Eastern Europe. By far the best hostel I have ever been to. The staff is extremely friendly and the atmosphere is so comfortable that you almost don't want to go outside. You should, though, because hiking the High Tatras is amazing. By far the best hostel I have ever been to. Had such a great time there, staff were great took us on some activites. Really cosy place, great to meet people. Got to walk Wally the dog which was fun. Friendly, hospitable and in the most beautiful village - Ginger Monkey sets the standard for how hostels should be run.
