Once I had a dream of opening the most awesome hostel in the world, catering to the road weary traveler, offering them a retreat of fun, hilarity, friendship, and mountains. Then I came to the Ginger Monkey, and realized that my dream had already taken shape. The staff here is made up of the most wonderful people in the universe, the beer flows like snowmelt, and if you need it, there is Goulash right down the street. Stay here if you are ready to fall in love and never want to leave.

I stayed here for a week, and loved it! The staff are friendly, the location is perfect for hiking or biking in the mountains, and Wally is the best hostel dog ever!
