Very far from the city and too big and crowned, but very good view of the coast.

About a 12£ cab ride to get back from the city if you stay out late. Wifi at 1.50 an hour is way steep. Shuttle is fair, but the little stuff adds up to £s. Did meet a few people but the layout is more generic hotel-like than hostel and not conducive to socializing with other travelers. Depends what you're looking for but I personally would not stay here again.   Read Owner Comments

great location, outside the city, right on the water--the sound of the waves of the atlantic ocean lulled us to sleep every night. friendly, helpful staff, free breakfast every day (!), clean bathrooms. an important part of why our trip to edinburgh was so great.

too far away from the city centre, i think the shuttle bus should be cheaper as it is the only option for some people. better to find a place in the centre. plus i think they charge for wi-fi which is ridiculous!

Out of town, but ok if you don't mind using shuttle bus. Nice area though. Good kitchen and movie room. Internet is not free.
