The Grand Hostel Bremen Reviews

Hostel was nice and spacious, so good value for money - but u'll have to spend 5 euros on tram to get to the centre. Only problem was the shower - Hot water stops after 10-15 mins. I reported it to the girl at reception, who didn't take it seriously. The same thing happened again, so I complained, and she didn't even apologise, just said it happens due to boiler running too fast! This thing should've been warned in advance, especially during winter :( I wouldn't go back because of her attitude..

They took more money, not like it was sent on e-mail.

really enjoyed my stay in the grand hostel, good staff, a lot of good tips, good public transport and a lot of fun with my room mates

nice place to stay, staff is friendly and location is also OK,would recommend it to friends.

The location did not appear to be central at all - it is misleading to describe it as central when it is a 45 minute walk from the centre of town. I had a pleasant stay at Grand Hostel and found the staff helpful. The use of the laptop was a good bonus

It's a nice hostel and quiet environment. I was very happy.

Nice place with a friendly staff. The rooms and kitchen was clean, and bathroom/showers were nice as well. Location is excellent if going to a football game at Weserstadion, since it is located very close to it. Though, a bit far from centrum, but the tram works excellent and if you are more than one, a taxi is a cheap alternative. I will definitely stay there once again!

The Hostel was pretty hard to find. Location isn't the best, but the staff was great and helpfull and the price was good. If I'll go to Bremen again, I would deffinetly spend my nights in The Grand Hostel Bremen.

Nice and clean hostel. The stuff member who welcomed us was great. He was ready to serve us, gave great tips about activities in the city etc (too bad we can't remember his name). Free parking was right infront of the building.

Nice frendly hostel at a perfect location. Staff is nice and the room we had was clean comfy and even come with an lcd television. It's a 10 minutes ride with public transport to city main station and it costes you Euro 2.30 Only downpoint was poor Wifi signal in the hostel. But one of the staff members let me use there laptop. Breakfest is 3 euro but i didn''t use it (only the coffie)

The staff was really friendly and informative. When we checked in, they gave us a free map and marked interesting places and good restaurants. Though the hostel isn't downtown, it's still easy to get to it with public transportation.

everything was great in grand hostel and Bremen. If I come to Bremen someday again, I will stay in Grand Hostel without hesitation.

clean spacious rooms, i met a lot of nice people there, thanks to the staff for all your help and handy tips. and bremen is a very beautiful town!!! i will definitely stay again in "the grand hostel" when i am back in bremen!

Absolutely charming hostel with the best staff ever. Totally worth travelling 15mins with a tram to get there!

Good if you're a business traveler looking for a quiet place to stay. Location needs to be reached by bus or tram from city center, not too good if you arrive too late for the last tram. No bar, not much socializing.

it was very nice. easy to find. close to everything you need (city centre 15 min. away by tram). friendly and very helpful staff at the reception. ver, very clean rooms and facilities. highly recommended!!! i´ll be back ;-)

Hello, The staff is very nice, they are ready to explain you all the things about Bremen with very good advices about the importants turistic points. The breackfeast is very nice and cheap, just 3 euros with bread, chease, caffe and everything. The hotel is not in the city center but for me was better because is in one quiety area and you can sleep easy. Everything very clean and the hotel very big. With 2 strassenbahn lines you go to the center in maximum 10 minutes. I really recomend

best staff. very clean. quiet at night to have a good sleep, very spacious rooms. and all for a very small price. highly recommended!!!
