The hostel is really far from Manchester. The owner don't have clever nothing abou the booking for that reason don't give us one of the rooms for we ask. The cleaness is not good, the place needs mantendence. Finally, the price was to high for that all those problems.

The Grapes is absolutely not at the address mentioned. It is definitely not at the 47 Market street. And impossible to find the real address. I don't advise this hostel which gives wrong informations. We found another hostel, more expensive but not abusing us.

The showers was a bit lacking in pressure and music was quite loud however great staff!

Friendly staff, good atmosphere and little bit lack of cleanliness. The worst thing is the location. It is too far from the city centre. So you spend one hour and half to get the touristic attractions.

A bit far away from the city centre, but a good price for a nice stay. Nice beds, clean showers and a kitchen with coffee in the morning.

The Grapes, Kearsley is a pub 20 mins from Manchester Victora by commuter train offering very comfortable accommodation with a quiet, congenial ambience. Reasonably fast free wifi available and free parking. Comfortable beds. Bar downstairs busy on Sat nights, but the "noise intrusion" was suprisingly minimal. Overall, despite location, I had a pleasant stay. Convenience store and rail/bus links nearby.
