This is a nice hostel, its small clean and friendly. Its a pretty quiet place to go with a pretty quiet town, but a homely feel to it. Great hikes to do just outside the hostel, cheap beer, clean.

This is a 110% rated hostel. Peaceful, restful and quiet... it felt so much like home. I enjoyed the nice kitchen and living area, plus the little backyard filled with fresh herbs to pick! Tanya and Neil were hosting at the time and they were inviting, helpful, and kind. Neil gave us an informational talk about the crater that was very interesting. It was my favorite "home-away-from-home" place to stay. Only wished I could have stayed longer.

Possibly the friendliest hostel in Israel. The staff here go out of their way to make your stay here as enjoyable as possible. We stayed over Shabbat, so the staff organised a shared dinner where everyone in the hostel cooked a dish and shared with the group. A very small hostel so even if only staying for a day or two you will fin yourself getting talking to all the other guests. The staff are also very informative on how to best spend your time in Mizpe Ramon. Rooms are clean & cosy.

More than a hostel: A place to call home in the middle of the desert. A very nice open living room with large kitchen and terrace. Warm and welcoming hosts, who seem to know everything about the area and hiking. We will definitely come back!

The hostel is situated very near to the Ramon Crater. The staff was very helpful! We keep our stay at the Green Backpackers in best memory. Stephan and Family, Switzerland

One of the best hostel ever! the staff (Lili and Adam and their workers!) were very charming, explaining us what to do in the nearby. they welcomed people during shabbat with a huge dinner, drinking wine and explaining the travelers the history of the site. Lovely place, I easyly recommand!

Totally relaxed place, more like a home than a hostel. Excellent advice on what to do in&around Mitzpe Ramon by the staff and especially Lee and Yoash. It goes without saying that it's good value for your money. All hostels should be like this one!

With it's charming “green atmosphere” this little hostel is located very close to Machtesch Ramon so that it is a good starting point for hiking tours. The staff is very friendly and can help by planning tours. The terrace and the living room like common room are really nice and invite to relax or to enjoy the food that you can prepare in the well equipped kitchen so that I can highly recommend this location.

Very little space, that is mostly occupied by the team with not respect to the people that paid to use the facilities. The gay in charge use a couch is girl friend the other and live only too for the guests. The only one electrical outlet in the lobby was constantly occupied by them.

I very much enjoyed my stay at The Green Backpackers. A nice warm and friendly welcome as soon as a stepped in the doorfrom joint owner Yosh, his first piece of advice was tograb a beer and head to the Makhtesh to wath the sunset over it.. He wasn't wrong. It was amazing. The hostel its self is very clean, within walking distance to Makhtesh Ramon (300mtrs) and the local shops, as well as a warm and friendly atmosphere. It's impossible to not find yourself a conversation if travelling alone.

Lee obviously loves her hostel, and it shows in how well kept it is and how warm and welcoming Lee is. Yoash had great advice for hiking the makhtesh, as well as information about its geology and formation. The living room provided a great central area to meet others as well. Best place to stay in the desert if you're not camping, and even then they will rent you a sleeping bag and mat if you want!
