Really friendly atmosphere and the staff were very helpful. A really good hostel experience

Highly recommend for all travelers in Mitzpe Ramon. The staff are super friendly and very helpful in finding fun outdoor activities to do in the local area, providing maps and practical advice. The hostel is located on the edge of the erosion crater, a few hundred yards from a nice sunset observation tower and also the start of a trail down into the crater. Clean facilities, plain beds,

felt like home at your place! keep the good work up :-)

This tiny hostel in the middle of the desert must be legendary. I feel quite lucky to have, by chance, stumbled into the best hostel in Israel if not the world! Clean, everything is spotless clean. When you walk in, it feels like home, the reception and lounge area is set up like a living room. I can only think of a handful of hostels that were able to replicate their atmosphere. The staff were helpful with hiking and advice on activities. Outside you can walk 100 meters and see the crater. Wow.

The hostel is well located, near the crater and a bus stop, and the welcome friendly. However, I did not like the atmosphere: there were only young German couples or fellows in this hostel (I guess this hostel must be very famous in Germany to attract so many people of the same nationality) aged about 20 y.o. So it was quite difficult to communicate or simply exchange with others due to the language and cultural barrier, and age difference also... But on their side, they seemed to be satisfied.
