I loved everything about this hostel and I can't wait for my next trip to Budapest. I wil be staying at The Groove for sure! Highly recommend

Great staff and some charming guests but the noise from the street makes sleep impossible. A thoughtless guest who got loud and needed light to move in and out at 3 a.m. on 2 nights is not the fault of the staff but it made me want to seek other accommodation.

It was a really nice hostel with a good location. The only bad thing was that my friend got stolen (her camera and iPod) by some guy who was also staying in our room in the hostel.

Very nice hostel, great atmosphere. Facilities are adequate, quite clean. A bit cramped space and not so comfortable bed. My room has another door to another room, so in total there are like 12 beds. Not much privacy then, but of course we could not ask that from hostels. No lock for each room but still feel safe. Overall a nice experience. Staff is friendly and helpful. Location is not that great, but easy to find and to catch tram/bus/metro, so if you buy pass, that would be ok.

The Groove is such a cool little hostel! The staff are super helpful and it's in a great location. I wish I could have stayed longer.

They should just be more careful with stupid people making too much noise late in the night.

This was certainly one of the highlights of our stay--this hostel. Everyone on the staff was SO friendly and SO helpful and gave us great recommendations for cuisine, tickets for bath houses, free walking tours, helped us learn basics of Hungarian And this hostel has the BEST character and location! With a movie loft and nice, clean beds and cool decor--I would DEFINITELY stay here again and will recommend it to any/all friends going to Budapest! We loved it. Thank you Groove Hostel!!!!!

Awesome staff. Place is a little small, which provides a great atmosphere. Located right by the tram which makes getting around super easy

Spent there 5 nights and it was great. Really nice dorms,the kitchen was perfect with free coffee and tea, so near Morrison's 2 and the staff were super helpfull!

The hostel is great, staff is friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed my stay there and I'll definitely recommend it!

Great hostel with brilliant and energetic staff. It had a nice unique feel that made everything feel so homely. It felt good to come back to the room and share my experience with my roommates. It was easy to meet people and the staff was helpful in providing information on what the easiest and safest way to get to the airport was in the very early hours of the morning. Would stay again.

The staff was really friendly, and waking up to the scent of coffee is just great! I hope I can stay a little longer next time. :)

The best hostel ever! Big rooms, very high ceilings, one feels like sleeping in a castle :) And the staff is great too! If you ever come to Budapest, this is the place to stay!

Its a very very nice hostel right near the train station and close to the middle of the city. The private apartment rooms are amazing and definitely worth the money.

It was a great hostel in a great location. Right in front there is a Sparr and its almost in the middle of everything.
