Loved the really relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Staff were the best of any hostel we've been to, inviting us out to parties, making us coffee, really making our stay awesome. Can't think of anything bad to say really. Maybe a little hard to find at first, and its not modern or anything, but it still has everything you need and the location was great for us. Would definitely recommend to anyone going to budapest.

Best staff of any hostel I've been to, I had a fantastic time! Great atmosphere, really relaxed and berry clean. Felt like I was at home, love these guys!

This was the most incredible hostel! The staff was so kind, helpful. and generous! They even took us out to their favorite bar! There is a kitchen to cook things in with the other guests, bathrooms are clean and working. The beds come with clean linens! It is a happy, friendly, clean atmosphere where you feel like you have made million friends the moment you walk in. I almost couldn't believe how nice it was to stay there. I will recommend this place to anyone who goes to Budapest.

I liked this hostel so much..Even their facilities are not awesome , you can find what you all need..The stuff is amazing and very helpfully..You can learn whatever you want from them , and you will get great advices..I highly recommend this hostel..Altough i stayed at more expensive and hostels which has better facilities during my trip , none of them give this hostels warm atmosphere..Just try..

We had a fantastic time at the Groove! The hostel felt more like we were staying in a friend's apartment than it did like a hostel. The staff were incredibly helpful in helping us plan our visit in Budapest. The rooms were nice, as was the kitchen/lounge area. A really great price, totally worth the stay. The hostel was located in a nice area, with the train, metro, and trams all within walking distance. Only thing I would say is that it was hard to find at first, but overall great stay. Thanks!

The reception is really nice, all the people who work there are really hospitalited, it makes me feel like in a warm home, because it's not a real hostel, I think it's more like a home for travelers, it's like a good family. the location is pretty good, and there's many stores near by. I love it. I would recommend people to stay at this hostel, I will book this hostel again If I am goin' to visit budapest again!

The staff made this place. Keen to give you tips on where to go and even take you out for a night on the town. Great location with good security.

I loved staying there!!! The staff was wonderful and gave us many ideas about how to spend our time in Budapest They were very helpful and were not in a rush to collect their money which made it seem more hostel like and not so much like a hotel. The building was beautiful, heated perfectly, had many doors with locks so I felt very safe, and the hot water worked very well!!! I had a great time and plan to come back soon and stay in the hostel again

The Groove is great! Small, cozy, with character and great atmosphere! Stuff is very friendly and we felt really good there. The metro station is near, a lot of great clubs are in the walking distance. One of the best hostels in Europe.

We really enjoyed our stay at the groove and had a great time there. Best thing about this hostel is that its as far away from a chain hostel as it can be, really cosy and you rather feel like a family than a tourist. All the staff was very pleasant, too and celebrating new year's eve at the hostel was awesome.

Staff was lovely, very friendly and helpful. I think that was the best of the hostel. I like the location very much too as the access to different places of the city was very easy. Just one thing and a constructive opinion. Lights of the corridors and stairs should be on all night. It was dark and difficult to go upstairs when I came back late. Apart from that I was very happy there. Thank you to the lovely staff. Victor.

The Groove is a cozy accommodation that leans more toward "weekend getaway house" than hostel. The facilities host clean beds and bathrooms, and a great common room for travelers to relax and exchange stories. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful; they will direct you to all of Budapest' sites, along with other plans outside of the city (ask about caving!). I honestly had an awesome time, and cannot stress enough how great the Groove is.

Friendly staff, good location and great to have free use of laptops! Signage is fairly limited so it was a little difficult to find initially though
