I would normally not hold noisy guests against a hostel, but the problem with The Groove is that the common area/kitchen is adjacent to all the rooms. I couldn't get any rest because there were parties going on until 4 am 3 nights in a row.

Best accommodation ever, nicer than any hotel The studios are a lot more than a hostel, but they are still at a very good price. They are nice and cozy, the location is great, the staff is awesome, the people who go there are awesome... “I loved room no. 3, it had a small living-room downstairs and the bed was on kind of a second floor improvised thanks to the really high ceilings. The bathroom and kitchen were shared, but clean and nice. It was lovely! The building is also spectacular.

This was a very nice hostel, the atmosphere was very friendly and nice. The staff was very helpful and friendly as well. The feeling was more like staying at a friends place rater than at a hostel. ^^ The location is very nice, not to far from the train station / metro and on walking distance from some of the main sites. It was clean enough and had everything you could possibly need.

We had a wonderful time staying in this hostel on mid-January. Room is very spacious and clean with private bathroom, kitchen shared among two other rooms but we have not see our neighbours, likely because we overlayed only for one day. Very welcome staff, Paul showed us very good nearby really nice restaurant where they serve traditional Hungarian food and it is very cheap. Walking distance to the Nyugati railway station and center. Really nice place to stay.

Very cozy place, friendly and helpful staff, and it's great for meeting people. A short walk from the river and easy to get wherever you want to go. One of my favorite hostels so far.

Had a great stay, though nothing out of the ordinary. The staff was very helpful, I slept well, met some cool people, and had lots of fun in budapest and the Hostel.

Came back after a year away with my girlfriend, and immediately felt at home. This time we took the double room, an incredible, comfy, beautiful room! The staff, as usual, was helpful and accommodating. We had a slight heating issue (which they promptly fixed), and they immediately offered to give us another room and reimburse us for the night, and of course we said no because the room was so lovely! So once again, Janka, Pal, Peter, Lily and Luca, thank you so much for a lovely time, see you :)

I was extremely ill with a fever of 39 degrees during my entire stay at the hostel and I was STILL comfortable. Really excellent place.
