Hostel heaven for American college students who want to take the frat party abroad with them (and anyone else who might like this experience), the environment is very familiar, Nick and staff go out of their way to accommodate and make every guest feel at home. The free pancake breakfast is delicious, and the communal style vegetarian dinners for 1 euro (with wine!) is a great way to meet other guests. The queen-size beds are quite a luxury. Beer pong and pub crawl in Bairro Alto every night!

I've stayed in a lot of hostels - the Rising Cock in Lagos, the Flying Pig in Amsterdam, and countless others across Thailand and the EU - so I feel I can say with some certainty that the GSpot is hands down the best hostel I've ever stayed in. They have the friendliest, most down to earth staff I've ever met, and the owner, Nick, is one of the nicest, most helpful people you could hope to find - one night they were overbooked and Nick literally gave me his bed to sleep on. I thnk tht sys it all

Absolutely fantastic hostel. So kind. They go above and beyond in all aspects. Queen beds. Free breakfast and dinner. I can't say enough great things.

Best hostel I've ever stayed at! The staff was amazing! I miss Nick, Chris, Meeka, Natalia, and Maddy! The pancake breakfast was amazing, family dinners were wonderful, the two hour all the sangria and beer you can drink every night was fun, and the pub crawls were unforgettable! I would definitely go back!

What an awesome, awesome place to stay. For my first Hostel experience, the GSpot has set the bar untouchable. Outstanding, warm, and friendly staff--they literally met me on the street as I walked down the main avenue in Lisbon. It is like a big family setting with clean, COMFORTABLE beds. If you are boring and you suck, don't come here, because this place is so wonderful. I will absolutely be back!

The staff went above and beyond to help everyone and also accommodate my gluten free diet during breakfast and dinner. A thank you to everyone who cooked something for me and a special thank you to Natalia and Maddie for taking extra care of me. The best thing about this hostel is that you are made to feel like family the moment you enter the door.

Maybe I am bias even though it was my first time in Lisbon. The Gspot and its staff made my stay feel like I was staying with family and old friends. The Gspot is not your average hostel nor is the environment/atmosphere created by Nick and Co., and they make you feel like you are comfortable in your own home.

It was my first hostel experience and I really don't know how the next experiences are going to keep up with this. GREAT STAFF, big beds, pancake breakfast, family dinner, and epic partying! Special thanks to Nick who even fixed my suitcase :) There are simply no words to describe how awesome the GSpot Hostel is, it's all a traveller wants and more. I would work for them from free if I could, just to stay there forever. 110% recommended

One of my best weekends abroad yet, the staff made it great and the hostel itself was more than I could have asked for. But of course, the people really dictated my time here! The family atmosphere Gspot puts forth is perfect when trying to meet people. It's a hidden gem in Lisbon. Wish I could go back instantly.

I had an amazing experience at the GSpot, completely different than any other hostel I've ever stayed in. I have no idea how they make any money with all of the things they offer. I will be recommending this hostel to all of my friends!

We had a great time with you! Very rarely were we welcomed that heartily by the staff. The next time in Lisboa you'll be our first choice! Thanks a lot :)

My life changed when I got to the GSpot. How could I keep travelling and visiting when I knew that nothing would be as good as it was there? The big beds, the big breakfasts and the big parties definitely changed my vision of hostels. The team's so nice (they even carry me to bed!), the atmosphere so warm, and the portuguese ladies so fine that you want to quit everything and go live to the hostel. I'll probably do it. So say goodbye to your parents and go, they will probably never see you again

Well not to sound like a broken record, but this place is seriously awesome. It still amazes me that it was as cheap as it is... it was an incredible deal for everything that was included. I had big expectations for the Nick character all these reviews raved about, and without fail the owner was incredibly helpful, fun, and ridiculously likeable. I came to Lisbon alone on a sunday night, and STILL managed to have an amazing time. Awesome people, awesome vibe, great deal, perfect location. GO!!!
