I had a problem on the night i stayed but the security guard was fast asleep on the bench - i actually had to physically shake him awake and he didn't help, just went back to sleep. People were coming in and out through the doors and he was just fast asleep. Didn't feel very safe or confident!
If staying a couple of days a change of bedding would be awesome:)
Everything you needed was at this hostel. Good aircon wifimlocation and free pub crawl also very good.
Great hostel. Everything you need as a backpacker is right here. From location to boozing .
Great social hostel. Clean dorm rooms, good AC, comfortable beds, warm shower. 2 free beers each night are great, breakfast very average, eggs were so oily and fruit tasted like it was off. Ended up skipping it after the first morning. Overall a great social hostel and loved the chill out movie room!
Nice hostel, very central. Get two bottlels of Saigon for free during happy hour. Also great party hostel, the actual bar is in a seperated building so you don't get bothered by the music if you want to sleep early.
The staff were very helpful in advising on tours. Very friendly and welcoming vibe at Hideout. Thank you!
Was good. Come here if you want to meet lots of people! Great location and close to everything. Staff nice except the woman serving breakfast is extremely hostile though and made me feel unwelcome!
This was a really great stay! It's in the back-packer area, so there's lots of street food and bars selling cheap drinks. The hostel's own bar was a good way to meet the other travellers, and you could get free beer between 8 and 10pm! The staff were friendly and mostly helpful, but I wouldn't say they went out of their way to help. The rooms were clean, with someone coming every day to clean them. The shower was really good, and the beds were very comfy! Would definitely reccommend.
Great for socialising and very central in Saigon.

Great hostel, centrally located in the backpacker district. Definitely a party hostel with it's three-times-a-week daily pub crawls. Great air conditioned chill room with a huge television and computers. Free breakfast. Nothing bad to say about this one!
Right on the center of Saigon! Nice activities during the night. Good atmosphere.
Great backpacker atmosphere. Easy to meet people, nice, clean, simple dorms. only downside is that there is only 1 toilet and 1 shower for 10 people. They also aren't separated so of someone is taking a shower, you can't use the bathroom. breakfast was simple but good great bar and chill out area. If you want to meet people and want to be able to party and relax, this place is fantastic.

Nice clean hostel with good atmosphere. Breakfast was disappointing.
Good location in the centre of Saigon. Close to bus dropping off and picking up spots. Very easy to meet people, hostel bar and lounge room next door are really good. Staff helpful, but only one girl did have good English, but they tried. Room clean and offered decent security.
Great hostel, it has a great vibe. Met some great other backpackers there. Really recommend it. Rooms are clean, and the two beers between 7 and 8 are great. The included breakfast is, unfortunately, not that good. You can choose between one egg (instead of two eggs in the rest of Vietnam) with bread or fruit salad..
Excellent hostel! Really enjoyed our stay, the pub crawl was really fun and the movie room was great for chilling out.
A decent hostel in a good area, although the city is so spread out you will inevitably be further away from some things than others. Having the bar as part of the hostel was good. Beds were really comfortable. Tours were generally expensive here, but Lac Hong agents a few doors down were cheap and great. I'd stay here again.
Great hostel. Love the jam room above the bar - very much needed addition as can imagine before there was nowhere to chill out!
