Great hostel. Good for meeting people and you get two free beers every night! People were very helpful especially as I had a package delivered here - i got it just in time but they offered to send it on for me if it didnt!

One of my favourite hostels I've stayed in on my travels- all the staff are really friendly and helpful, rooms are clean, showers amazing. Really sociable place to stay, you get 2 free beers every night and breakfast included! They also run 3 bar crawls a week which is a great night out and way to go to the local bars and meet people! Definitely recommend!

Great social hostel for people looking to meet other travelers. Big spacious rooms, fantastic showers and of course the 2 free beers every night make this a fantastic hostel for the value!

Definitely a great hostel. The bar crawls they do are very fun. Great way to meet other travelers and plan trips together. My only gripe is that the lounge area isn't the best. It's kind of small and when people are checking in and out, it get very crowded. But it's not bad either. I met some people in it.

Great, friendly hostel with lots to offer travellers. Always happy to offer advice about trips and excursions. Very clean and tidy. Free beers between 7-8pm! Good selection of fruit and jams with bread for breakfast. All in all one of the best hostels I've stayed in!

Good value hostel with big lockers and an extension cord which takes all plug types for each bed which was a nice touch. The staff were very friendly and approachable. Common area is a bit small though and despite the 2 free beers every night the atmosphere isn't that great mostly because of the crowd the hostel attracts. If you're simply looking to get drunk you'll get on well with the people here. If not they can get really annoying. Though I imagine most hostels in that area are similar.

Not much I can say about this place other than it was a place to rest my head. There was one shower/toilet to a room of 8-12 people on the 5th floor. The wifi was shoddy and I (and everyone else) used the 4th/2nd floor wifi. The lift worked, so don't worry about that. Anh was extremely helpful and even brought me to an amazing Banh Mi stand (get it with the egg). The free beers were a nice touch, but the rowdiness of the crowd it attracts negates it. Friendly, though.

A great hostel in a great location. I had a lot of fun at the Hideout!! The security was a bit lax at night as my dorm had some visitors who weren't staying at the hostel. The facilities are very new and realatively clean. The included breakfast was good and the free beers at night were a great bonus. I would recommend this hostel to all travelling to Ho Chi Minh.

Such a great hostel! Two free beers every night, the staff are so helpful and the dorms are clean. The street behind it is full of great places to eat and drink, it is walking distance to the city's attractions and I couldn't recommend staying here enough.

Location is excellent, the staff is really nice and the free beer is an awesome idea. However there was a bad smell in the staircase.

This hostel is fantastic! Perfect location, incredibly helpful and friendly staff, and wonderful atmosphere. The lockers in the rooms are really big and the breakfast they serve is great! Every evening each guest gets 2 free beers so the whole downstairs becomes a really social place at night- great for meeting new people! Everything you need is close by; convenience shops, foods, travel agents, pharmacy, and lots of bars! Highly recommended!!

I loved the Hideout Hostel! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They've done a great job of creating a very social atmosphere by having two free beers for guests between 7-8pm, and triweekly pub crawls. The dorm room was very nice and clean, with a big safe. The only downfall is that the 10 bed dorm room had only one bathroom, and the social area is quite small. I would definitely stay at the Hideout again!

The good things first: The location of the hostel is great, it is close to many restaurants, bars and street food, convenience stores. The staffs are friendly and helpful, although very busy at times so you will need to wait a bit for service. 7-8pm is happy hour so you can have 2 free beers and get to mingle with fellow travelers in the lounge area. The bad: I was on the fifth floor and nobody ever locked the dormitory door. Also the air con was too cold at night but they do give you a blanket.
