Good hostel with modern decoration, big rooms, clean toilet and well point in the city.

Great Hostel! Friendly staff, good location, not too expensive. I think it's our favourite hostel in Barcelona, and we tried 4 until now.

The Hipstel is a wonderful hostel , very good emplacement ,receptionnist very nice !

The hostel's main dining room was under construction. However, the breakfast provided was awesome and the staff was super friendly and helpful.

Helpful, friendly staff and clean facilities. Even though construction was going on while we were there, it did not disturb us at all.

Hostel stuff, even if they were joking about my name, become very helpful! Tasty breakfast!

It was clean, a little bit noisy in the room 101 beside the reception desk. Very friendly staff. I recommend the Hipstel.

We loved our stay at the Hipstel and would certainly consider staying there again if we were in Bacelona again. Possible improvements could be bigger lockers and a nicer breakfast (though I recognise that might cost more) with fresh coffee.

Doing refurbishments while I was there, which is understandable. Too many fedoras though, which can ruin any stay.

The Hostel was very good.It was my first time in hostel ever so it was big experience for me.But Hipstel had it very easy.There were people from all around the world-I could improve my English and Spanish.They planned big crazy nights in Barcelona with foreigners who were bored. The bedding was very clean, the bathroom was almost empty - I didn't have to stay and wait.And off course, it is close to center of Barcelona-the truth is, it's in center :)

Absolutely loved this hostel; fantastic staff, rooms and facilities and in an excellent location. The only bad thing was that there were no lockers in the rooms, but the staff were more than willing to look after any valuables during your stay.

There are so many good things to say about the Hipstel. Friendly, accommodating, spacious, clean, and a wonderful hot beverage machine! Made a wonderful visit to Barcelona even better! As our group of 5 dropped to 4 for our final night, we were able to stay in the same room rather than move to a room for 4. Large separate shower room for women. One block from central metro station. Loved it!

Nice hostel pretty close to las ramblas. Our room was (6 dorm) was really small and nothing special, but we just went to sleep there anyway. We could not open the window because behind a bunk bed. That was a little annoying in the morning. The hostel has a really nice common area with a good kitchen. Also nice: the computers even with a printer. The hallway is decorated nice, too!

Everything was nice, friendly, clean....I think this is a very good hostel to stay a few nights.

Friendly staff, amazing location.

I visited with a friend for a few nights and we had a great time. The hostel has clean bathroom and showers...not very common at hostel to see cleaning staff all day long. The staff is great, they have a 24 hour reception so you can have their help any time. Recommended 100%

Wish I was able to stay here longer! Great accommodations, especially the high pressure shower!
