The absolute best hostel I've ever stayed in!! Amazing value for your money, clean, great location, and the best staff I've even encountered. You'd be missing out if you didn't stay here!

Hipstel hostel has a really nice location, just in the one of the main street, and the atmosphere and facilities are quite good there. But maybe shower room and the sink can have toilet paper too, not just in the bathroom, then it will be perfect.

Good accommodations for the price. Breakfast was included, but it is important to arrive early. Location was also good, beds were comfy. No storage for bags, people just left them in room.

The staff was really wonderful and welcoming and helpful, and did a good job of trying to get people involved. My one complaint would be that, in my room, at least, there were literally only beds and mini lockers. Not even a trash can, and no place to put anything except hang your coat. Also, the room was a bit cold at night and the blanket was pretty thin.

Overall, my friends and I were really happy with our stay. It was clean and a great value. The location is pretty close to everything that any tourist would want to see in Barcelona. It is definitely geared more towards younger travelers. They had a pub crawl which included dinner and discounts on drinks for only €12 which I thought was a good deal. I would definitely stay here again.

Just off the north end of Las Ramblas, and incredibly close to public transport (metro & buses to the airport) this is a great hostel in a great location. The staff were incredibly helpful, and the social events (including a gig in the hostel on the Saturday night) make this a good place to base yourself for a couple of days' exploring this fantastic city.

Nicest hostel I've stayed in so far with the friendliest staff who were always smiling and very obliging. It was really clean as well, there was always a member of staff cleaning and tidying. The building itself was beautiful and the rooms were massive. There were lockers in your room for security. The breakfast was by far the best on offer in a hostel, lots to choose from and plenty of fresh fruit. Location was great, very central. Will definitely stay here again and recommend it to everyone.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The location is great, and the hostel is clean with cute decor everywhere. Be aware, however, that the shower rooms are unisex (didn't bother us, but may be a dealbreaker for others!)

My partner & i had a great stay that we extended it by 2 extra days! We booked a private double room on the 2nd floor which has a balcony, very large room with 2 extra beds, rack to hang clothes & lockers aswell (you will need a padlock with a long hook to secure it). Staff were extremly helpful with all our questions &there is someone on desk 24/7. Bathrooms &toilets were always clean. The only thing is the vending machine ran out of water after 2 days of our 7 day stay. Noisy on weekends

Near the Catalonian equivalent of the "Champs Elysées" called Passeig de Gracia, the best thing about this hostel is its location. Room was basic and clean. The shared parts such as shower, kitchen and living room were easily accessible and pretty clean as well (it seems to me the cleaning lady comes by two or three times a day). The door stays open 24/7 giving you plenty of freedom. The hipstel even organizes "nights out" where you pay 12euros to get in two bars (one drink included) and a club.
